It's absolutely a cheap way to give you an easy win. If I get SVP but lose in overtime, it's absolutely an insult to throw me into a bot match for 'practice'
Yeah except it doesn't work like that. If you get 2 losses in a row or even 2 losses separated by a win, it'll dump you in the kiddie pool, doesn't matter how much playtime you have. If I get SVP and it still puts me into a bot match, that's bad design.
It seems to be a way to grant the player an easy win so you don't tilt and quit. But the ruse was way too easy to see through.
Inspector Gadget flying down the street and crashes into you, sending you both tumbling into an open-air clothes market. You emerge in a gender-bent outfit and he says "That suits you! No need to thank me!" as he flies off. Penny and Brain look on in confusion, glance down at a computer, then give you a thumbs up.
Oh no doubt. He's expecting a pre-established public service. But looking to hire a private service and not wanting to pay taxes for a public service is at least more principled than most Republicans today.
I'm all for schadenfreude, but this isn't a logical inconsistency - he is demonstrating his money going to private industry rather than public services. Or at least, his desire to do so.
The incessant lurch of time makes us crab and there's nothing we can do about it
