  • My brother in Christ Comrade in the revolution, Communism is a stateless, moneyless, classless society. Whatever self-proclaimed "Statist Communists" thare are, are no-more Communist than the National "Socialists" who sent our kind to the death camps.

  • 🫔 I'm trying to do my part, too.

  • The governor signs bills, she doesn't write them, so that's more of a question for the Michigan legislature. You're still right, & this should've been done years ago, but at least it's happening. Many states still allow it.

  • It's good so-far, & I hope it continues to grow & improve. I've seen some communities partially shift to Lemmy, which is good, & I hope more of them come over. There are/were some thriving niche communities on Reddit which might be better served on an open platform like Lemmy. We already have c/vexillology for instance, but it's still relatively small & inactive compared to the old r/vexillology. I've got some stuff I've been working on myself which I hope to help contribute to this project.

  • I've got some stuff I'm working on that I want to add post to that. I really hope the r/Vexillology community moves to there. For now, it looks like it's mostly one user listing historical flags. Which is nice, but it's missing the whole thriving community & the fun contests.

  • An a further note - I want to contribute to the existing communities here, but it's been an issue of time for me. Especially for starting a community. I'll try & find the time to post.

  • I still peek at Reddit occasionally for r/vexillology & some related & similar communities. There's just no presence of them here that I've seen so-far. I hope they can manage to migrate, because it's just about the only thing that keeps me going back to that pit. It'd be nice to see more local communities, too. There were whole thriving subreddits for different states & cities, not so much, here.

  • There's a few communities I still check in on occasionally, which haven't moved to Lemmy yet, but I've mostly shifted to Lemmy. Hopefully Lemmy grows, & more of those old places move here. I'll keep using & supporting this platform, in the meantime.

  • And your brother! šŸ‘¦

  • The fight doesn't end at the ballot box, but it does start there. Everyone needs to vote. Vote in the primaries, vote in the general, vote in local elections, & vote in state & national elections. Make yourself heard, & organize.

  • What's that in American? How many glorious screaming freedom eagles' wingspans? Like at least 10, right?

  • Nice.

  • This reminds me a bit of Sync, formally for Reddit. They're bringing it to Lemmy at some point in the future. Love all the new apps coming out for here, great work :)
