  • Wait so I'm not just supposed to just slap it on the side and say, "Ayup, that's a good'n alright"?

  • Hehehe... Dollar...

  • Assuming this is an honest question, I'll give an honest answer: The Onion is a satirical website, and is by no means right-wing.

  • I'd love a VR/AR headset to (mostly) replace my desktop monitors tbh. Love the idea of being able to have a 2 or 3 monitor setup without having to manage all those physical screens. Nothing is really "there" yet for me, especially for the price.

Other than that? I can't think of much, besides gaming.

  • You're right, I should've waited 'til after I had my morning coffee to post 😅

  • They're referring to the Senator from West Virginia, who's literally named Joe Mansion. He's a living political cartoon of a corrupt politician. He's also not seeking reelection, so Kamala wouldn't need to negotiate with him at all to begin with.

  • Because those guns were pointed at American soldiers.

  • More like, want a big strong man to come save them from the evil bad people. My mother is that ways, and is self-unaware enough to say so pretty directly.

    So... Fascism.

  • Unrelated Greek word? Platonic here refers to the nature of Arthur and Lancelot's relationship. It's a platonic relationship, rather than romantic or sexual one.

  • Ah yes, and they can replace him with a real politician: RFK jr.

  • OP said they were paraphrasing his comments, not quoting him; the word "final" doesn't appear in the linked article at all.

I had to double check because it caught my eye, too.

  • So... There's at least one border, then.

Edit: not complaining, just amused because of the name. Its probably a good call on their part, given the circumstances.

  • It's not "liberals" they're targeting with these sorts of tactics, per se, but poor and minority populations, who tend to vote blue out of self-defence. Of course, many of these laws are also applied unequally within states, such as the recent raids of Latino voter organizations in Texas.
