  • What Lemmy threads have you been in for the last two years? The constant refrain in every political thread was about how the Democratic Party, in control of the executive, should not march into genocide, fascism, and hand Trump a second term. Those people got heavy resistance in every thread likewise without fail. There were those who felt a stance on Gaza was hypocritical and that a genocide should not have any place in their politics.

This is the entirely preventable and predictable reality.

  • Yes, but often as a result of a long diet with chronic dehydration from a kibble based diet.

The moisture cats consume is from their prey. The blood and juices of rodents and birds hydrate cats.

Canned/wet food cats tend to wind up with thyroid issues instead of kidney. (Well, sorta: there's evidence the BPAs in cans and mercury from fish as a reason for that.)

  • The simple answer is: there's never been a trans issue. There's been an anti-trans issue though. And that's categorically portrayed as the trans people's fault and responsibility, much to the benefit and design of the anti-trans movement.

The anti-trans folk sit right along Zionists and ICE in their rhetoric.

  • Democrats want the party to focus on their day-to-day needs and want wealthier Americans to pay more in taxes.

That was the express point of the article.

The only two parts that deviated from that message: saying democrats focus too much on transgender issues and it talked up Gavin Newsom.

So if that wasn't the point of the article that's what you're left with.

  • Super Metroid is the first game I really explored breaking the mechanics and routing of progress. Perfectly timed bomb jumps, wall jumps, etc to access areas early and such. I always found that to be neat.

More recently though, Super Metroid was one of the first randomizers and an early popular speedrunning game.

I think that'd why it's maintained a level of popularity not easily seen from the game itself.

  • It'a just Massie, the ideological libertarian who is the rare case that doesn't lie about his votes. He's no ally of the left, but his isolationism and streak of conviction makes him only slightly less shit than the party he caucuses with.

Although the pro-war factions are the majority of both parties. Pretty sure Chuck Schumer is ready to to lead Senate Democrats into supporting war in Iran anyway.

  • There's a hilariously drawn out postgame/endgame challenge dungeon type thing that's like 100+ straight battles.

But the main game is solidly worth the full price, quite honestly. Any sale you find is just helping your budget.

  • This can actually be a large part of it. Cats are obligate hunters so they can be pretty regimented in wanting a 'hunt' to spur their appetite.

A play session may be that fourth thing.

  • I actually have this thing. The knife thing is annoying and it just sits on the back acting as a brace for the dishsoap bottle. The cutting board rack is kinda dumb because it just dries onto your counter.

But the baskets are nice because they drain into the sink. It was a really cheap kitchen improvement purchase I don't regret.

What it needs though are raised rubber gasket lined feet so it doesn't hold bits of water under the base you have to lift and wipe up. It's cheap material and easily modified.
