It was so weird when Target opened in my city. Everyone was pumped for the great deals Americans are always on about. The grand opening comes, and it was basically just a super expensive Walmart with half the products out of stock. Then they closed without notice like a month later. Employees came in the morning to open up and there were chains on the doors.

Especially when they are just a series of on-rails missions with "ride a horse through this forest for five minutes" breaks in between.

I saw Timberborn getting shilled a bit on here so I've been checking that out. Lots of fun so far. The droughts keep absolutely wrecking me, though.

I've been using Qwant and am happy with it.

The politician's brain turned off and he kinda just froze mid-sentence. His handler had to take him away to the retirement home or hospital or whatever.

If you have posts or comments on a sub that went private they won't appear on your profile, and these auto-delete tools won't see them. When (if) the subs go public your content will re-appear.

I'm not defending Reddit here but I think that with so many subs having gone private, this is at least part of the problem. I was upset initially when a bunch of my content was "restored" but I realized it was all from the same three subs that had opened back up.

Is anyone actually on Firefish though? The issue with these platforms is that they don't really become usable until they have a decent userbase.
