Honestly if this massive energy need for AI will help accelerate modular/smaller nuclear reactors 'm all for it. With some of these insane data centers companies want to build each one will need their own power plants.

I've seen tons of articles on small/modular reactor companies but never seen any make it to the real world yet.

I had a co worker a few months ago say they needed to head home to their second job after work, curious I Inquired further and it turns out he has just been busting out ~40 hours a week of destiny 2 for a few months now while also working 40 hours a week at our job.

To really switch to Linux people need to accept that for a good experience you may need to switch off some software to alternative software.

This wasn't a big deal for me personally and I'm happy I use more open source software now, it can be a bigger issue especially if you need specific tools for work.

Well I think religion is one of the few things you can get enough uneducated/dedicated people to die in the hundreds from heat stroke without people being like"I should probably leave"

All the examples you gave, of course except being trapped on a bus, people would realize there is a serious issue and start leaving once the first handful of people died.

Russia is well aware that if they use nuclear weapons it's over for them, will the rest of the world fall too is another question.

Either way I truly don't believe they will do it simply because that ends Russia in its current form, and I don't think we should allow them to be an aggressor just because they have nukes. Russia needs to be stopped and their saber rattling should rightly be ignored.

Russia said they would nuke the west 10 times already, they have rattled the saber too much and nobody believes the threat.
