  • None as far as I know. If someone knows the answer I'd be interested as well.

Fifa used to be decent for extremely casual social gaming with friends in person.

Everything else has been horrible for years.

PES is dead. We don't name whatever is out there now to replace it, no one should

  • Problem is not energy even, it's that they are not transforming CO2, meaning that is still there, simply temporarily stored. It is not a solution. It can be part of a solution. But currently there are better and cheaper overall solutions

  • An emulator has a performance overhead. Even a simple translation layer like valve's proton has an overhead. The fact that most games are simply unoptimized and windows is so bloated means that the additional overhead of proton is not a performance bottleneck. But if one has a good hardware and a good dedicated OS, emulator is not really necessary, which is good for performances

  • All according to his plan. Now he can have public funerals and a grave with its real name.

Old trick of mafia bosses: handing themselves over before dying, in exchange of something for the family, to be buried with official public ceremonies with their real name. And this always happens when a right wing government is in charge, leading the "negotiations". Real question is what they got in exchange

  • Thanks, this explains:

The Windows NT POSIX subsystem did not provide the interactive user environment parts

So the interactive part, the shell itself, is not compliant. That is why I was confused

  • They can group them, drill down, there are many way to make them readable. That's the actual work of data visualization: simplify something complex to convey a message, leading the reader to the relevant data that support the message, letting them understand it.

Here nothing is readable with the exception of the big polygons, and data are absolutely unclear even when the polygon is visible

  • For these reasons, I always push for simple and straightforward workflows and many commits and merges. For many people git remains a mistery also after years working on it. I blame the easy-to-use guis, many people learn 2 buttons to press for a workflow, and they never care learning more

  • It is partially. But if someone uses excel professionally their requirements are pretty high. Tbf, I don't know the details because I never use it, but calc is behind excel for professional use as far as I understand
