The best alternatives for creators to obtain revenue are Bandcamp and Odysee, they have an fair business modell. Certainly when YT said selfhosting is harmfull, it's only for their business modell, but if creators create their own pages with their work, it's not really a solution, it will be interesting only for direct fans.
The main reason of humanoid robots isn't that the people think that it is a person, it's because our environment is made for humans and because of this the design to best fit in this environment with several different tasks. The little bot in the article never be apable to wash your dishes, climb stairs or serve you an beer from the fridge. Robots made for one specific task, certainly can have a design specific for it, there isn't needed an humanoid design.
China isn't communist, but way kess stupid as the US, that is the main difference. It's something like a state capitalism, not depending on private lobbies as in the other capitalist systems. A real comunist state don't currently exist in the world (no, also not North Corea, it's a fascistic dictatorship, not so far from what will be the US with Trump in the near future)
Maybe Q4OS, but if you a Gamer, which want to play the most recent games (logically in a Gaming PC), Linux sadly isn't the best option, the most modern games are Windows only, the advantages of Linux are others. In this case the best option is to use Linux in dual boot with Windows. I hope that it change in the future.
Spain was the first requesting to recognize Palestina as State and that Israels atacks are a genocide. The Spanish top Diplomat Josep Borrell said that Hamas was funded and supported by the Israel gov. Sadly not all of the EU members are si consistent.
It's not so easy to answer if piracy is ethical, depends of the context. It's not the same soft from a shady company and from a small dev team or startup. Anyway, due to the overhelming amount of free alternatives, piracy in most of the cases isn't necessary. I'm using an PC since almost 30 years now and never had the need to piracy an soft or pay for it. There are tons of free and OpenSource soft and services out ther, often better as the commercial ones, giveaway campaigns in games (Steam, Itch.io, DigiPen and others are full of good free games) and soft, free music (Bandcamp, Pixelfed, FMA,,,,,), etc. only needs to search a little.
Seems so, works fine for me. I'm currently using it for some backups. Maybe changing your DNS helps, I use Quad9, Cloudflare and Google DNS sometimes make connection problems. (1.1.1.1., 8.8.8.8.)
