  • And yet you always seem to settle on articles about Biden's age or those that promote voter apathy. Interesting.

  • OP, How many times a day do you Google “Biden bad”? Be honest.

  • The point is that the MAGA movement is already extremely violent. Their threats are being carried out. The issue is bigger than idle “threats”. The actions of these domestic terrorists have already warped life in America.

  • Surely this could’ve been avoided if only there had been four good guys with guns…

It’s sad but it’s just three more senseless deaths at the hands of gun violence that we will do absolutely nothing about. Just add ‘em to the list. Many thoughts and prayers from the right though 🙏

  • The surviving members have actually been touring with Edsel Dope (from Dope) as their vocalist under the stage name “Xer0”

  • while moving on to the next fake scandal.

Joe Biden stole my pic-a-nic basket and then forgot about it!” - Marjorie Taylor Greene, probably

  • Try reading the article rather than responding to the headline

  • and scale back investment in its Mozilla.social Mastodon instance.

Well shit, I guess I’m never getting off that waitlist. Of all the services being effected by this news the mastodon instance is a relatively minor loss but I was really hoping it’d work out and thrive in a similar manner to Vivaldi’s instance.

  • When the reporter persisted, Decker explained that her father—a preacher born around 1933, according to the Courier Journal, or 68 years after slavery was outlawed—was “born into poverty” and worked for free with his family on the property they lived on. (It’s unclear whether the adults were paid, though the Courier Journal notes that it sounds more like “Decker’s father was forced by his parents to do chores” and that the family were tenant farmers.)

“My dad had to do chores when he was growing up 😭😭” - KY State Rep. Jennifer Decker

  • The suspension cited platform manipulation and spam as its reasoning, which he wrote in his appeal that he had nothing to do with.

So the only conclusion we can draw here is that writing an article critical of Twitter because it's overrun with (paid) spambots now constitutes "platform manipulation."

Elon in 2022: I wanna get rid of all the spambots!

Elon in 2024: You're banned for being mean to the spambots!

  • Epik, once valued by an investor at around $150 million was sold for around $5 million dollars in June 2023, according to a purchase agreement released as an exhibit in the Adkisson lawsuit. Much of the $5 million purchase price was allocated to paying off some of Epik’s debts.

"Go woke go broke" though right? lmaoooooo

  • “Give me a break — I mean, it’s Trump,” Mr. Graham said. “All I can say is while Trump was president nobody invaded anybody. I think the point here is to, in his way, to get people to pay.”

Oh shut up Lindsey. It could not have been more obvious that Putin's invasion of Ukraine depended heavily on a second Trump term so that his lapdog could continue to undermine NATO and prevent Ukraine from receiving critical support. When that didn't happen he chose to proceed anyway which has proven to be a catastrophic miscalculation on his part.

  • Who is denying Biden's age?

Nobody. OP just googles "Biden is old" every day and spams Lemmy with whatever nonsense pops up.

  • Presidents can't pass laws

Yeah, this thread is beyond frustrating. We need to prioritize teaching civics in high school because it could not be more obvious that a large number of people out there have no idea what they’re even talking about. It’s just ignorant rage.

The top comment in this comment section is so ignorant it should embarrass everyone using Lemmy.

  • What are you suggesting he do about it?

Oh don’t expect an answer from that OP. They’re here to blame Biden. It doesn’t matter if there’s anything he can actually do about the issue.
