  • Musk recently said they were removing the “nag”, and has said in the past they only have it due to pesky regulations. It seems apparent the system isn’t ready for that, though.

  • A Twitter post? I suppose about 30% of reddit is Twitter posts…

  • Are people realizing that? It seems like celebrity and sports star and influencer worship is worse than ever.

  • Uh, yeah… check out multimillion dollar product endorsement deals. Caitlin Clark is being paid to endorse Xfinity, Buick, multiple insurance companies and a few things actually related to sports.

  • this jalapeno shit has been fucking me up for a while

  • always have a towel with you, they say.

  • You've read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, right?

  • So that vial is the size of a tennis ball container?

  • Why? It would be a cinch to just use a database, write a small script and automate it.

  • I assume because it’s more customizable.

  • Huh. I guess I’ve been lucky with those quarts of vodka.

  • The problem for me is the blaring, irritating, repetitive ads. I guess anything without that would be fine.

  • Can neither confirm or deny?

  • Yeah, I saw a few intepretations:

    • he was joking
    • he hates his job and all of the customers
    • he hated us in particular (there'd be no reason why though, my gf and I showed up, had a couple glasses of wine, didn't complain that one had gnats in it, got rained on on the patio, went inside and paid and I had just finished tipping 25-30%)
  • Yes, but the problem is they replaced it with BPS which is basically the same, but less tested.

  • I told a bartender “oh, the pleasure was all ours!” one time just sort of joking around and he said “you have no idea how much”. I wasn’t really sure how to take that.

  • I grew up saying “you’re welcome” but I don’t interpret “no problem” that way at all. It’s never occurred to me even. I tend to say more “oh, of course!” or “hey anytime” though.

  • That’s a bit of an exaggeration. I suppose, if you went in a circle or got stuck in traffic, but at an avg of 50mph 40 hours would be 2000 miles. Texas isn’t that large. It could take about 20 hours to get across though.
