  • I mean they were doomed when they started asking for money in addition to pointing people how to break encryption and stuff so you can play those definitely your copies of TotK that was leaked

  • I don't really get people saying fuck Nintendo. It's their IP, and Yuzu team was pretty blatant it's made for piracy, boasting how good it works with TotK. It's not what you do when you try to stay under the radar. Regarding Switch 2, this exactly what happened with DS and 3DS. DS was so easy to pirate Nintendo went ultra ham on piracy protection measures in 3DS, which took a good while to break. I'd expect the same with Switch 2.Which will probably make things annoying for people who will buy the system

  • I'll be a bit pedantic, but originally Android: Netrunner was made by WotC. It was one of the four TCGs created under the Deckmaster label, of which only MTG still exists.
FFG licensed it for a long time and made it one of their big LCGs, but a while ago WotC decided to not give them the license anymore (or did they ask for a lot more money for renewal or something? Not sure) so FFG basically had to stop making it despite it being quite successful.

  • They protested no matter the party lmao. The issue is that the grain that was supposed to go through Poland as transit was being sold at lower prices than local grain, while not needing to meet the same standards (because it's just in transit here right? Right?) Farmers basically feel like their calls earlier were ignored by Warsaw and Brussels. Russophiles were very quick to come in and make this a russophile thing.
Whole crisis was manufactured by previous government because wouldn't you know, there was a lot of money to be made when some of the "transit" grain disappeared and was sold

  • I'd say it's very similar in Poland. A lot of small cities and villages, barely connected by roads and with little to no rails. Public transport is good but only in big cities. In those smaller ones, you're lucky if there's more than on bus per line per hour.
This is my firsthand experience, as I'm from one of those. 15 years ago there was a bus every 15-20 minutes. Nowadays there's one per hour, sometimes less.

  • I was considering an ASUS when I was looking for a new phone, but it quickly fell off my list due to just that, can't justify buying a phone that gets less than 4 years of updates when OEMs are slowly rolling out 7 year support window. Ended up getting OnePlus12, and I am very happy with it.

  • I am very happy with OP12. It's not flashy or anything but it's clean, does the job, holds the battery well, does great photos. It's quite frankly really boring, but in a good way.
One feature that is a big wow for me is that it charges really fast. I plug it in at 5-10% and I have a fully charged phone after half an hour which holds for 2 days

  • Except E.Wedel is owned by Korean chaebol Lotte. Which is… I don’t even know honestly, I just know chaebols do a lot of fucked up shit. I guess my point is there is no ethical consumption under capitalism
