  • Yeah. When they invade and occupy countries for decades, they kill hundreds of thousands of people and eventually go home. So the plan then is for everyone to form irregular militias and engage in decades of guerilla warfare?

  • I don't understand the deterrent thing. The US dominates the globe militarily and the corporations responsible for the anthropocene extinction enjoy property rights enforced by that military. How is being armed going to stop them from continuing?

  • We have a global economic system that encourages and rewards evil. More and more countries have political systems that do the same. Good people would rather help others and make the world a better place, and this prevents them from attaining power. It would probably require doing some evil to remove the evil people from power.

  • We had an economic plan for this almost a century ago. It was called the "euthenasia of the rentier class" advocated by john Maynard Keynes. I guess we didn't expect the rentier to also control the financial system.

  • The thing is this just makes it "cooler" among the Nazis because now it's illegal. It plays right into their persecution complex. It also opens up a legal morass of trying to define a hand gesture in court. To me this seems like it's fighting the symptoms and not the underlying problems.

  • I'd like him to be eventually prosecuted, but chronologically. So prosecute every corporate murderer, every war criminal former president, every judge who sentenced innocent people to their deaths, etc. Prosecute all of the murderers who are currently free, and when you're done with all of them, you can prosecute this guy.

  • Does it though? Did they really do XCT on enough brains in areas with different F in their water to show this over time? And correct for the fact that it calcifies with age anyway? And probably does so variably across individuals and populations (2023 meta-analysis says old white men are the most likely to have calcified pineal glands).
