It also depends on the usecase. It likely can help you better at throwing webpages together from zero, but will fall apart once it has to be used to generate code for lesser-discussed things. Someone once tried to solve an OpenGL issue I had with ChatGPT, and first it tried to suggest me using SDL2 or GLFW instead, then it spat out a barely working code that was the same as mine, and still wrong.
A lot of it instead (from what I've heard from industry connections) being that the employees are being forced to use AI so hard they're threatened with firings, so they use most of their tokens to amuse themselves with stuff like rewriting the documentation in a pirate style or Old English. And at the very worst, they're actually working in constant overtime now, because people were fired, contracts were not extended, etc.
Children will just jailbreak the AI. I managed to jailbreak far-right chatbots (until certain platforms started to block common phrases for this purpose), children will be able to do it too.
Also AI is so caca at most jobs the best it could do is help corporations to either produce more low-quality services (which at one point, won't be sustainable) and help in bluffing their way to lower wages and lesser worker protections. At this point, it's barely more than a toy and a spam machine, and most of its supposed cost cuttings rely on both speculations of its future and investment funds to make it look like it's a "free" technology.
Those that are so preoccupied with hating others for their LGBTQ+ status usually don't care about solutions to their financial positions, and instead often advocate for trickle-down economics or similar, and fear that general welfare would just "give money to those who don't deserve it". Their main goal is to shift progressives into socially ultra-conservative points.
I've seen people like them. Every time one of our liberals have forfeited their positions, all they did is nod, then say "Aham, when will you move even farther to the right, fucking communist?".
