  • Brittish rail actually did this in yhe 60s or 70s. Some guy rocked in looked at all the unprofitable local stations to improve efficency.

The results were the profitable stations lost revenue. Because people who jumped on the local station who nolonger could just drove all the way to the destination.

On topic I'd suspect something similar would happen eith royal mail because fuck trying to figure out if your package will get where its needed on time ehen you can just send it via courier a d take that out of the equation.

  • Isn't it fun going down this road rather than fixing the need for ad blockers. (The ones beyond I'm just not interested)

The fbi recommends using adblockers which is amusing to me as Google is headquartered under their jurisdiction.

Drive by scams malicious scripts and straight up videos that google themselves would kill the account of a creator for.

And on top of that there's only so many times in an hour I can watch an ad for raid shadow wallet in an hour before I need a suicide hotline

  • In the modern age it seems sensible has gone right out the window. It almost feels like it's your fault you hate their product rather than it being shit.

Information has lost all value and I just don't want to play anymore

  • I don't disagree but when I get asked to give it a rating 2 mins after installing they can fick right off.

Thanks to bots and shills ratings mean nothing.

In most cases I just stop using something as its not as useful as i thought or just boring bugging me in this manner just makes me actively hate it.

  • I'll be honest at this point in my life anthing that pops up it gets a 1 simply for annoying me.

I'm never randomly recommending anything unless asked and if I do when asked specifically about it the app owners sure as shit don't need to know about it

  • Coding is hard I guess. Gota focus on all that telemetry.

It's really annoying my task bar has been at the top since workbench 1.1 and I used it to differentiate work and personal pc at a glance as they often share screens for comfort at home

  • Indeed. The reaction from our customers was hilarious after our development team released a public statement stating we weren't vulnerable to the big log4j exploit because the version they used was so old that feature didn't exist yet
