Do they work well as an A/C replacement?

Probably a sad attempt at adding “shiny” features to get people to upgrade to 11 once updates are no longer published for 10?

“We’ll get people hooked on these shiny features, 90% of which are not interesting. Then we’ll pull the update rug from under them. And bingo, they’ll upgrade!!”

No they’re simply trying to emulate Google and Facebook by becoming data gatherers and hoarders. They’ve been jealous of how much data other companies have gathered about people, and then realized they could easily do the same.

Musk was clearly frustrated that X is only a third as sexy as any porn site. So he’s trying to compensate.

Good riddance...

The only thing on that comparison that I like is the snip tool. At least I assume I use the windows one. Nothing else on that list is vital.

I see there’s nothing in their manifesto about school kids getting mown down by guns. But we have to protect them from those nasty transgender….. people.

Can I disable all local AI features? Or better yet not have that functionality installed?

Hurricane Irene in the Caribbean in, what, 2011? Luckily we were tucked up safely in a hotel with a concrete structure but it still scared the crap out of us.

We thought our windows and patio door were going to blow out and we used all the bedding and towels to stop water coming in under the door. It soaked up so much water that we couldn’t lift them in the morning.

Thankfully I think it dropped to a cat 2 (?) as it hit land, so damage wasn’t as bad as expected. Still, our hearts broke when we saw the damage to the island and homes as we returned to the airport a few days later. I don’t know how the locals deal with it every year.

I feel sorry for Barron, and not just for his first name. He looks so unhappy. I hope he’s relatively normal compared to his siblings, despite them and his dad.

Any idea how long it usually takes for a new SoC to reach the Airs? Assuming they follow a pattern with each now generation.

Just wondering whether to buy an M3 Air or wait for the M4 version.

Prices have dropped then!

Will the M4 be used in new MacBook Airs, or is that a completely separate SoC? I’m not familiar with Apple’s hardware anymore.
