  • Interesting, cause I stopped giving things away for free or at least I don't write it into the offer, cause in Germany it happend quite a lot that people didn't show up, when I wanted to just give it away. I don't know why, maybe if it's free it's not that important I guess? So I started to offer things for a few bucks but still I want some money (at least I write that I want money). When someone arrives and wants to pick something up I just tell them to just take it. That way I get rid of so much more stuff and the people collecting stuff are always so happy as well.

  • Nothing of high, high value either but one time I bought a box full of Yu-Gi-Oh cards at a garage sale. It was just a small christmas box but full of cards, often even in sleeves. The guy who sold it even asked me if he should get rid of them. He didn't know the box had something in it and thought I just wanted the box itself. I denied and asked for the price. The lowest he could get was 50ct for an item. Since it was a box and cards it was 2 items, so 1€ in total. The most valuable card is around 30€ at the moment, the full box around 100-120€.

  • Mostly from small people either tricked into buying the "new bitcoin/Nvidia/apple/... before it's to late or dumb people hyped by other dumb people into buying it. And if enough small people invested and the stock rises the big player collect the profit.

  • As sad as it is I think you're right. The same was said about facebook and even though they had a bumpy road it's bigger than ever before. Nothing being sold at the stock market follows any logical rules, it's so much emotion that sells stuff. And as long as it makes money, nobody cares about racism or pedophilia or any other bad thing. I thought that's why we hate capitalism that much.

  • If I understood you correctly that's nothing you can learn. It just happens for most people when they see something they like or admire. I myself have trouble with stuff like that, but that's because I have a soft form of autism and an anxiety disorder so keeping track and not losing myself completely in a situation is mandatory for not going insane.

  • I'm really bad at name creation and wanted to try a character in an online game. Who could have guessed the name "try" was already taken... So I turned it around, it sounded alright for a dwarf char and 15 years later it's still my username.

  • Yep, normal range is 3x a day to every 3 days. More or less is possible but that should be checked by a doctor. If it was always once every 5-7 days it's probably nothing and normal for you. If something changes about the rhythm then go see a doctor and that can mean you're one of the once every 3 days people and now you poop daily. Even if it's inside the range, go see a doctor!

And one myth: if your body is the slow type like every 2-3 days or even 3-5 days fibre and stuff won't help, it's just a heavier poop (in weight) after 5 days than usual.

  • For me Skyrim, The Witcher 3, botw and all souls games.

Skyrim never clicked, it just felt buggy and empty and punishing. Trying to climb that mountain just so a yeti can beat you up? Great, here is your save spot form 15 min earlyer, please try again. I know that's why it's fun for so many, I just hated it.

The Witcher 3 was too... much dialogue. Most of the time I can play 1-3 hours every couple of days. And in the Witcher you walk 15min through beautiful but otherwise empty forest, killing 1-15 something, walk back and talk like another 15min with the guy who gave you the quest. It's really deep worldbuilding, but when you don't have a lot of time it's more "damn, what happend last?" 5min walking "ah, that happened" takes new quest, so much talking..."ah damn, my hour is gone, so I finish the quest another time." PC off.

Botw cause the world felt empty and everything broke in an instant and I'm the player ending with 50 healing potions, 10 big scrolls and so on cause MaYbE I'll need it another time. Doesn't match with botw. TotK is so much better handling this, cause you can craft any good item in an instant.

And Souls Games are just a broken mess. They're not hard by default, they're hard cause of all the buggy and mushy controls. It never feels crisp, it's just a big blob and maybe your character rolls or maybe it feels like an invisible wall, who knows. Games like Jedi Fallen Order in hard mode or Hollow Knight were so much more fun, cause the controls were crisp and everytime I lost, it was because of me. I did wrong and not some squishi spaghetti code.

  • Nope. And everybody will scream cause they payed 70 bucks for a broken game, just like Bethesda is known to produce.

Just keep looking at the list. Payday 3 is also there. A publisher known for maybe a worse dlc and microtransaction policy than EA with the Sims, but it seems that doesn't matter a bit.
