My MIL laughed because I've been buying n95 masks again and tuna/rice/beans for my crawlspace. I'm hoping I just have extra food and paper goods I won't need but my gut tells me RFK is about to willingly introduce bird flu into our raw milk diets or whatever and trump is going to make everything else go through the roof.

Protect your faces everyone who didn't vote democratic...eventually even with only white blonde straight christian families that are left some won't be trumpy enough for the others and will get theirs eaten too. Theres always an enemy or outsider to fascists, it's never enough.

If Republicans demonize democrats and project their own crimes for half a century without facts then it's honestly time to stop crying wolf and do some things that they're getting accused of. Why does a red name get a pass? If it isn't both sides but everyone thinks it is anyway then there is no reason to not do bad stuff. Trump has proven that you will get rewarded for being the worst human possible and more. He is apparently the ideal American so to not lie cheat and steal is un-American. If Biden helps his son once in the face of 30+ terrible felonies president trump did himself, not including his cronies, then so be it. I really hope Biden breaks everyone's brain about pardons because it will bring every other scummy pardon into question too from other presidents.

I can't stand this "not a good look" talk when democrats have to basically be squeaky cleak that they can't even own a peanut farm or swear and yet 10 years into the "grab them by the pussy" guy who makes fun of disabled people, women, calls everyone names including his own party... Nobody bats an eyelash. I don't care if Joe Biden lied for his son at this point, Donald pardoned and will continue to pardon dozens of family and staff and insurrectionists. It's ok for Trump to lie about not knowing project 2025 and then immediately hire everyone involved with it days later... But Biden can't lie once. Got it.

It's a poison pill for pardons. Either they are essentially absolute and irreversible, or they aren't and all of the ones Trump made and will make are up for debate. He can grumble all he wants but for Trump to call this pardon "such an abuse and miscarriage of justice" is absolutely laughable given the decade of insanity and illegal stuff coming out of his orange anus. The toilet photo of all the documents should have been enough to jail this man for life in a black site but I guess justice is a miscarriage after all.

If there's anything all these lying rich guys have in common, it's that they say and agree with the last thing someone they want something from said. They just echo ideas that get traction and ride the wave.

I just want to reiterate that each response you've given is dismissive and also you're putting yourself down. Each comment. So it's okay to focus on your self esteem first by breaking the cyclical issue of (I don't have hobbies, therefore I am lame. I am lame because I have no hobbies) and you have to get uncomfortable and force yourself to do something new or stop doing something you think is problematic. The hard part isn't doing that though, the hard part is doing that again and again. The first week you'll be reminding yourself a lot but over the first month or two you will simply be someone who does x thing.

Clean your room. Make your bed. Every day. Seriously it's a easy way to physically and visually start seeing a daily change that makes a difference. Maybe it's lame or pointless but it's definitely progress when you're stuck in a rut.

Calling bull on your pity party. I met my wife because she messaged me online about smash bros. If you do anything besides eating pooping and sleeping then you will have an interest. If not then you should do anything besides eating pooping and sleeping and seeing if you had a good time. Here's a start... You know what you DON'T like right? So do opposites. If you hate watching TV then read a book. If you hate computers then pick up woodworking. I'm not your dad and can't tell you what to do, but I guarantee you know what you don't want to do. Start there.

If you can't be comfortable or happy by yourself than you can't go out of your way for others. Like how on an airplane you put your oxygen mask on before helping others put their mask on.

I had a bad bout of depression and opted to remove myself from social situations instead during my 20s. Once you realize that if other people have a problem with your problems more than you have with your own problems, that's their issue...it is an epiphany. Even absolutely successful people have endless haters, just put on horse blinders and tell yourself "fuck it" and just do what makes you happy.

You'll bump into people who want to hang out as you keep doing activities for yourself. If you like hiking or drawing, hike and draw. If you like running go run. I guarantee the people also doing those things have something to talk about to open the Pandoras box of conversation.

Don't set yourself on fire to keep others warm. Good luck, it's a process. Gotta learn how to respect yourself the same or more than you want to have others like you.

Honestly a "left Joe Rogan" isn't going to pick up at all with the left because we aren't into tribal bullshit. We don't follow personalities over policies. If AOC said tomorrow "lol Mexicans" the left would shun her because she isn't aligned anymore with core values of being a decent person. Nobody wants a Joe Rogan on the left because left leaning voters care about the idea of a functional government more than they care about how a figurehead feels about the government.

Whats really appealing about people like Bernie is that for 60 years he's said the exact same things regardless of the personalities and political winds shifting. It's the clear optimistic integrity that's appealing, not Bernie himself. I want healthcare, I don't give a shit who is giving it to me. Democrats need to have a handful of under 55s who simply want simple stuff and are LOUD and CONSTANT about it. It's better to have a coordinated party than individual podcasters.

The whole plan is to break all government agencies and then swoop in with a handful of billionaire buddies to buy up EVERYTHING. Houses, bitcoin, schools, outsourced (previous) government jobs to private industry. Crash the economy and tank the financial hit while everyone else is forced to sell, die, or give up their stuff to survive a recession.

My apathy for anyone outside of my nuclear family is significantly higher than it was a few weeks ago. I'm just stocking up on masks, purell, and stuff for the coming year+ when a bird flu kills the yuckyucks and I can't buy tuna anymore because captain brain worms and the orange don't believe in science and will actively punish anyone who does for trying to get medicine. They saw their own covid response and went "hmm we did too much. Let's take more away" it's just mind boggling.

This was definitely a "kiss the ring" moment filled with veiled threats of dismantling zucks business under the new mob boss. I bet elon is actually the one who called the shots leading up to this, effectively making elon the real president and now cracking whips at other tech bros in his stratosphere.

Elon also is heading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)... I bet they will substitute crypto for cash and pump/dump the nation. Honest opinion? Buy doge coin and bitcoin because inflation will skyrocket if Trump gets to print dollars and slap 100% tarrifs on food and Chinese imports (aka all products you buy). People will park their money in transient currencies and hard assets like houses and watch trump lower interest rates to refinance his real estate and his buddies too. Refinance your home, borrow cash and buy crypto, ride that wave before it burns down.

Knowledge is evidence based and has certainty based off of repeatable observable data. Belief is educated hope, based on the unknown when compared to the known.
