  • As kids we had a few "must have been ghosts" experiences.

Me and my brother both woke up at the same time because we heard our mom shout on us from downstairs. We got up to see what she wanted but she wasn't there. Went back upstairs into her bedroom and she was asleep.

Our bedroom TV once turned itself on in the night, loud static channel. It was unplugged before we went to bed and didn't have a remote control.

"Must have been aliens" one. Was watching an airplanes blinking light in the sky flying along. It stopped moving and kept blinking for about 5 seconds. Then shone really bright and shot towards the horizon in about a second. This was about 15 years ago and nobody believes me. I still don't have an explanation for it. I assumed it was brand new military tech but I still haven't heard of anything that can move that fast.

  • I'm the opposite, I don't give a monkeys about the story but I like the loot goblining.

That said a borderlands came on the gamepass the other week and I was so excited to lure my boy into co-op with me for the first time in ages. It wouldn't stop crashing. I googled it to see if they were aware and all I could find was the company sucking it's own dick about having already released the final patch to stop it crashing so many times. I wouldn't say I'm thrilled about the idea of dropping $80 on a day one release.

  • Could you elaborate a little more? Like do those countries not allow subscription services or something?

Only reason i can think of with my rational, non-global-economic brain is that it's got too much gory/sexual/political/whatever content that isn't worth the effort censoring.

  • To be fair I wasn't around in ancient times to get my loincloth in a twist about it. When I saw that list the Internet was just moving away from Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan chat rooms. It wasn't the all-pervasive life-replacement it is today.
