  • Gamers are not always the most unfrozen pogos of the box.

  • Just wait for Epstein's best friend to pardon him. A rapist tech bro is still a rapist bro.

  • That's a stupid analogy. The employees are not responsible for the bad management déecisions, they just want to be fairly paid for doing a job they like. Meanwhile "gamers" are fucking obsessed about trashing a game that isn't out yet because "nO bLaCK SaMuRai iN my HiStorIc vidiyaGame aBout ficCtiNal chArcTers RuNNInG oN wAlls". Just dont buy their games.

  • Steam is just another soul-less capitalist business. They employ less then 100 people but take 30% on every game sold. They would do the exact same things as Ubisoft if the estimate they could profite more from it.

  • Gamers won. No executives will lose a dime but 185 workers are screwed because Ubisoft bad and Steam good.

  • Steam says the same thing and everyone jerks them. Plus the quote was actually out of context.

  • I asked it about human rights in China in the browser version. It actually wrote a fully detailed answer, explaining that it is reasonable to conclude that China violates human rights, and the reply disappear right in my face while I was reading. I manage to repeat that and record my screen. The interesting thing to know is that this wont happened if you run it locally, I've just tried it and the answer wasn't censored.

  • 4,20 CAD so around 3 usd. EDIT: Hey the US part wasn't there when I replied! Was it?

  • There's a firefox extension to hide short and another to default to your subscription. Along with ublock, those are the only things that makes youtube usable.

  • I suggest you read Thus spoke Zarathustra by Nietzsche.

  • That's kind of crazy what happens with your ears with the pc monitor and all! Can you use over-ears headphones?

  • Member that time I pissed on the bed? That was the good time.

  • That's right, it's actually LPCM that isn't compressed. I don't think I've ever seen people using wav as a container for compressed audio but it's indeed possible, thanks for the clarification.

  • Someone lost his job with that joke. Is that you Guillaume?

  • FLAC is a lossless compression format. It will reduce file size but keeps the audio quality. So-called "high-res" format on streaming platform like spotify (mandatory fuck spotify here) are usually mp3 320kbps so heavily compressed and lossy, indeed.

  • 100% right.

  • PCM Wav is uncompressed (best quality) and FLAC is lossless compression. FLAC will keep the audio quality while significantly reducing size of the file so ripping a CD to FLAC is a good idea.
