  • Marvel movies sucks. I can enjoy a superhero movie from time to time but this is getting out of control. 98% CGI movies with the SAME F*CKING STORY for the past 20 years. Good vs bad, chosen one, origins, Bla.Bla.Bla.

  • The only problem I had was using a specific App (Tidal music). The virtual keyboard doesn't show up so I either have to plug the real keyboard or use the web version of the app. Otherwise its really smooth, way better that it was on windows 10. Touch screen is super responsive, I dont have the pen.

  • My dad has a Surface Go. I've installed Fedora on one of those and it works really well. Dad is still unsure about this but I will try to convince him during the holydays.

  • I have the 8gb model and I cant recommend. Battery life is ridiculously low, it struggle with windows, but got a little better on fedora. Keyboard broke after a year, it was about 90euros to replace Overall it's really overpriced, you can find better.

  • It is. For me, it shows we can easily have fun user-controlled social media. That's the key to take back the web. That's positive and makes me feel good. But unfortunately, the vast majority of people seem to not care at all about this. Of the dozens of people I spoke too about Lemmy, not a single one joined. I got a single friend to join Mastodon. I don't understand why so many people, organisation, media, that say they're "left leaning" cant stick to Musk's garbage X. Gotta be patient.

  • Well, if you trust a guy who already tried to overturn the government to reform your constitution , I guess you deserve what you get. Trump only cares about one thing, himself. If you cant see that, you are deeply brainwashed, sorry to inform you. He will throw you and your people under the bus at the very second and will see no use in you, like he does every damn day.
