  • I'm still definitely gonna watch it. It'll be bad, but I'm gonna watch it.

Not like in the theater for money. After it's floating out on the high seas.

But even if it's bad it's still a nostalgia trip back to something that was undeniably amazing.

I saw matrix 4 twice and liked it. Sue me. Fight me lol

  • Is this his planned escape route after he's already gutted and skullfucked government programs that benefit lower income and working class people, environment, etc? Also after he's redirected government funding, tax money, to his businesses?

I'm not saying I have evidence there's truth to this, but I wouldn't be surprised. If he does go away, much of the public will forget really quickly. His shittiness and his obvious nazi salutes should never be forgotten.

  • What if their parents are shitty and encouraging this type of behavior?

The Andrew tate type people tend to have kids because they want sex and that's all they think about. They don't think critically about contraception, or long term decision making. Then they either abandon the child/mother, or raise it to be an asshole.

  • Important to remember trump is a symptom. It's his cult of supporters that stand behind and support no matter what he does.

This is 10s of millions of people. They are police, lawyers, judges, doctors, teachers, neighbors, etc.

Getting rid of trump is important, but the point is we have much bigger foundational problems to fix. Conservative elite billionaire oligarchy class owning our media, political system, education, propaganda, etc. They are the ones who helped cause all this.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if it goes this way.

Religion is a tool for indoctrination and control. They want to be able to control the masses to keep power and wealth with the oligarchic elite. Religion and superstitious thinking is a direct contradiction to critical thinking. Religion literally makes people dumb, and therefore easier to manipulate.

  • Same.

Important not to wallow in despair as best as possible. Try to stay healthy, eat healthy, exercise if possible. Save money, cut back on luxuries. I also don't know what to do, just my simple recommendation as bare minimum if shit does get worse.

  • Or very importantly when the trump admin ignores it, everyone needs to be paying very close attention, and screaming at the top of our lungs.

I'm afraid they're following their own chaotic plan to disobey the law (the constitution), and normalize it so everyone gets used to it. And they use whatever propaganda methods to convince their base (easily) its all ok or for the good.

Once this happens, then they can start doing even worse stuff. Who knows what else. They can't be allowed to cross this line, but I'm not optimistic at all.

  • Idk for sure, just speculating, but I think they don't care about the actual individual. It's not about him.

They're asserting power, defying the supreme court. It's that simple. This is authoritarianism. This is how it plays out.

Again, speculation. They start with these types of acts, if they succeed their way, disobeying law gets normalized, and they can continue and do even worse.

If I'm correct, checks and balances is falling, or has fallen. This is what authoritarianism looks like.

  • Billionaires don't care. They'll be fine, we're the ones that have to suffer.

    Thanks to republican/conservative voters.

It ain't just maga. I work with non-maga republican voters who didn't vote trump, but also didn't vote kamala, because they "just couldn't do it". These people's only issues they talk about currently, is that people steal by taking advantage of food stamps when they have expensive jewelry and iPhones, and they think Mexicans are taking jobs all over. I've heard these verbatim arguments over and over. They think dems give "too many handouts". They're stuck in there ways and can't be convinced otherwise.

They have no clue that it's Republicans who are the ones to "give handouts" to billionaires and themselves, and they're not willing to hear it.

It's not entirely that they're dumb. They ARE ignorant, but that's by design. The elites have been executing this for decades and have done a great job, in the form of propaganda, indoctrination, and shitty education.

It's hard not to think that we're just doomed.

  • I'd argue they might be testing the waters to see how much they can get away with. It could be a logistics thing, but I doubt it. I highly doubt they care one way or another about the individual.

This could be a blatant test on how far their power will extend. People haven't been saying "authoritarian" and "threat to democracy" for the past few months just for the fun of it.
