If I am looking to know about a particular goings on, I will go through the news sites I trust to find the text article. I do not like video on news sites.
Back in the mid 90s, when I was a very low income earner and filing the 1040EZ, I could call an IRS phone automation and input my SSN and the relevant numbers and be done in minutes. Did that go away with the internet? Seems like they were on the ball technically then.
I will never understand the parishioner's mentality, seeing him ask for money every week (probably every day) and then seeing him and his wife wear tons of jewelry and expensive clothing. "They sure look great wearing things I paid for, wonder if I will buy food or pay my rent this week"
I keep making the argument for the government agency I work for to get off the platform. But the powers that be are so hung up on engagement metrics they don't care that the site is toxic and dangerous. I also believe that Twitter activity insulates government from being shown amongst the worst of it.
