photon dev here, this is what changed:

• Lemmy switched from a simple "page" number to a "cursor". You can't tell what the previous cursor is easily, but you can tell with a page number. I thought it was more complicated than worth it to add back cursor handling because you can just use the back button.

I asked it for the deaths in Israel and it refused to answer that too. It could be any of these:

• refuses to answer on controversial topics
• maybe it is a "fast changing topic" and it doesn't want to answer out of date information
• could be censorship, but it's censoring both sides

I personally liked the pixel 8 design a lot more, the rounded corners felt more natural and the matte visor that blended into the siderails felt a lot smoother. Not to mention the smaller size

I've had a pretty good experience with my pixel 8, especially in battery. nearly got 11 hours of screen-on time once.

Wish performance was better though, but otherwise it's still pretty good for me.

The name was originally "rising" because I thought "scaled" was a stupid name but I changed it back because I thought it would be confusing like in this case

What was broken about it?

Idk people usually don't care enough to go out of their way to research a term like that
