For real?? 😓 I was rockin a 3080ti on a 4k panel for a bit there and Wayland was impossible to run on Debian-KDE. Like as soon as I got to desktop everything stuttered in slow motion, dpi was janky as hell, and wouldn't respond to DPI config changes... And that was on a fresh install from Debian's KDE installation media! 🤔 did ya'll have to do any tinkering or was Wayland cruising for ya outta the box?
Had to sell that card as I got tf outta the US anyways (been maining my steam Deck on a dock, which has been fun!), but I'm thinking I'll go AMD for my next build. VR & Wayland are way better on an AMD GPU, from what I hear!

Honestly though, with this many different claims from such separate entities, I get the feeling there's some evil lurking within at least some core (leader)ship that's probably linked to all this negative coverage?
More directly, Linus kinda acts like a bit of a shit pretty frequently - between a bit of overconfidence that comes off through his general demeanor, and directly calling Steve autistic (allegedly) and definitely using the word 'retarded' as a derogatory (present in the text thread Steve posted), I'd say its pretty clear where the problem lies.

Not who you asked the question to, but I emigrated as well. We are very fortunate to have her mother's side of the family here, so we're living with them at the moment.
Sorting through all our life's possessions and being forced to answer yes or no to 'do we try to move this to our new home overseas' was pretty tough.
The most challenging part was selling the house... We are still sitting on that, sadly. We have a great realtor (I hope), but currently we're jobless and mortgage every month is gouging into our savings.
Thank god video games taught me to hoard funds for the OP items in late game 😅 dwindling fast, but couldn't have done it without them.
Yeah, I played the 2.0 vanilla for a week or so after the update came out (comes with quality and elevated trains mods), then bought the DLC and it loads in as a mod as well.
