  • That tends to happen when you hide in an embassy until the statue of limitations runs out. The US didn't want to extradite him until 2017 after WikiLeaks interfered with the 2016 election.

His election interference was part of why he lost his asylum "We did notice that he was interfering in the elections and we do not allow that because we have principles, very clear values, as we would not like anyone to interfere in our elections," he said. "We are not going to allow that to happen with a foreign country and friend like the US."

  • Assange is a colossal douchebag, rapist and Russian asset, who is terrified of faceing the consequences of his own actions. In November 2010, Sweden issued a European arrest warrant for Assange, for questioning in a Swedish investigation, He was suspected of rape of a lesser degree, unlawful coercion and multiple cases of sexual molestation. After losing his appeal against the warrant, he breached bail and took refuge in the Embassy of Ecuador in London.

  • This does raise further ethical/economical issues though, as most people in these creative industries actually require income from this boring work to get by.

That sounds more like a problem with capitalism than AI.

  • Infinity punishment for finite transgressions is kinda the whole point of modern Christianity.

  • He might not be able to get a member of the Supreme Court Bar to take his case. The requirements are:

To qualify for admission to the Bar of this Court under Rule 5, an applicant must have been admitted to practice in the highest court of a State, Commonwealth, Territory or Possession, or the District of Columbia for a period of at least three years immediately before the date of application; must not have been the subject of any adverse disciplinary action pronounced or in effect during that three-year period, and must appear to the Court to be of good moral and professional character.

It's a low bar but all his lawyers end up getting disciplined by the judge at some point.

  • I feel that, take care of yourself.

  • You can win money in poker. Casinos take their cut from the pot, so you are betting against the other players, not against the house.

  • Other than the one wire connector and the IR, most phones have all the same hardware and much more compute power, there is nothing stopping a rooted phone from doing the same thing. The Flipper is just an easy UI on a cool form factor.

  • In the US you can be fired for any reason except for protected reasons (gender, sexuality, race, religion). Being a convicted sex offender is not a protected class.

  • Hey, dark humor is fun, but are you doing ok?

  • Lunatic Fringe, it was a screensaver so to play it you had to wait for your computer to go to sleep, and if you moved the mouse the game would end.

  • Willie looks like he's trying to play it cool after he smoked too much and everyone started looking like muppets.
