Good to know! I know it's stupid and not at all the case, but I had read about a virus that ran on an old version of Windows when you open a file because Windows needed to compile the file to open it and the exploit took advantage of a vulnerability in that compiler to rescale to admin permissions, and I think about that when downloaded this serie.
Fortunately I live in a country where they don't care about piracy, but maybe I misspelled the question, I meant "sure" it can't contain some kind of virus.
And I guess you won the lawsuit? On Reddit I remember that people would commonly say they got those law suits but people would always suggest "don't do anything about it because they were just warnings".
I use it because it is in the Megathread of FMHY, apart from that I have never had problems but obviously you have to use common sense because anyone can upload a file as in any torrent site. My setup is a firewall (RethinkDNS in my case) that blocks internet access to the application as soon as it is installed and suspicious domains, download only from known uploaders like Balatan and do not give permissions blindly, and when in doubt there is VirusTotal.
Personally I have never used a Xiomi device to comment on whether it is a problem or not, but maybe it is, maybe it is like Windows Defender that deletes cracked .dll files when installing a pirated program or game and then the program does not start for no reason because of that.
Personally I have used Mobilism for years and it is simply the best site to download apk with pay options unlocked, although sometimes there may be crashes, from my experience can I say it, but it is not the most normal.
Have you checked that the apk you are downloading is compatible with your device? For example, depending on the age of your device and the version of Android you should download apk that are armeabi-v7a (old architecture) or arm64-v8a (newer architecture), although there are also apks that bring all versions in one.
Oof, just actually installed AltDrag, I can't live without being able to grab my windows with the super key from anywhere (although in this case the alt).
Thanks for letting me know that there is a fork still maintained.
I didn't mean to make it sound bad, although now that I read it again it sounds bad.
With "archaic" I wanted to refer to the fact that it is not necessarily the most efficient in my opinion, because for example in the case of Nextcloud, to synchronize my Keepass directory with a directory on my phone I need an external app called FolderSync and there is no "Synchronize when detecting changes" option, every time I make a change I must manually synchronize or wait for a scheduled synchronization to take place, and it is not exactly the most efficient, unlike with Bitwarden/Vaultwarden because synchronization is immediate.
And I know that in KeepassDX for example I can directly access my database and load it from there, but every time I make a single change when entering Keepass it says that "I lost connection to the file" (Something like that) and I have to go manually and choose the file again, I would prefer to have my passwords always in sync.
In the case of Linux I strongly recommend that you never use installers or repacks, which usually have a high probability of failure with Wine in my experience.
I can't confirm right now because I haven't downloaded Starfield yet, but try to only use portable versions of games, like the ones Steamrip offers, where you just download a .zip and you're all set, just run the .exe in Wine and play as if it were Windows.
Although Starfield is currently not available on Steamrip, you can find a portable version of Starfield on Rutracker.
Yep, that's right. You need to create a collection on addons.mozilla.org and go to Firefox Beta/Nightly settings and there, go to "About Firefox", then you must click multiple times on the Firefox icon to activate debug mode, and now you will have enabled the "Custom Add-ons collection" option where you must enter your username and the collection name to install the add-ons in the collections like any other extension.
I have been using it since I read your comment and it is absolutely great, not only because of piracy, but also because of the links attached to some Youtube channels.
I didn't know FastForward but it looks great, in fact Skip Redirect didn't work on many sites. And I do not know, it is a comment that I have read a lot but I have never been able to confirm, I only know that at least in my case sometimes the counters of some pages go down to 0 suddenly but I do not know if it is because of uBlock.
