  • It's simply not feasible right now. The best the UK could do in the short term is rejoin the single market.

  • But a lot of those people didn't go and vote.

  • I have seen virtually no porn here on kbin. What am I doing wrong?

  • No, no, must be aliens. Or the emus launched something from their secret underground base.

  • Might have residue of hydrazine or other nasty stuff, though. Definitely not safe to be around until it's been checked out.

  • Typical car brain. It's really sad how so many people are completely incapable of even imagining alternatives to car centric design of living spaces.

  • They're self proclaimed patriots that do everything they can to ruin their country, self proclaimed Christians that do the exact opposite of everything their religion prescribes and they claim to be "pro-life" but all their political positions are designed to get people killed. They have nothing but lies.

  • Musk never claimed in any way, shape or form that he was going to build the Hyperloop. In fact he explicitly ruled out doing it. You can blame the guy for a lot of things but this is just nonsense. Full disclosure: I also never intended to build a Hyperloop.

  • Holy crap. I've used this thing for years and never had a clue they're a bunch of fruitcakes.

  • If there was no intellectual property, what would prevent a company like Amazon to simply sell any work every published in their best monopoly marketplace without ever giving a cent to the creators? How would, for instance, the author if a novel make money?

  • Vulnerabilities exist in every piece of complex software. Open source means that when a something is found, it'll be patched and pushed out quickly because there is no secrecy and everybody just wants it to get done. In commercial, closed source software, the infectives are different. Companies world rather spend their time on money making activities that supporting their old stuff. And they're scared of reputational damage, so they're more likely to sweep things under the rug. Generally, i trust open source software far more.

  • I've been using the rear view camera on my Tesla exclusively ever since I got it. It does take some getting used to but it works really well. And if you look into rear view mirror while reversing, you have no business driving a car anyway.

  • Looks fine to me. Just roll it out.

  • I'm sure the cables are regularly inspected to the highest standards.

  • Thank you.

  • But kbin and lemmy can federate with each other (that sounds strange) so it's not a competition.
