  • Ya, I don't think so. As a 37 yo millennial, my retirement plan is to sell my parents house, live as long and comfortabley as I can off that, then eat a bullet. Actual retirement is not something I expect to be capable of.

  • I think giving the benefit of doubt is extremely important. Being welcoming to newcomers, slowly integrating them into the different culture here, will help a lot (FTR I'm new myself, only been here a few months).

    That's not to say we should give every jackass a soapbox to stand on, but at least learn if they're willing to converse in good faith before shouting them down.

  • How easy are we talking? I have literally 0 experience doing anything like that. I do have basic tech knowledge, but I haven't customized any sort of computer since the early 2000's (and even then we're talking simply installing a new graphics card).

    I want a steam deck, but I want more, and faster storage.

  • Disarmed lol. It is comically easy to sneak a gun past the TSA. I don't remember the specific numbers, but there was a test done, and something like 85% of the trials made it through with the weapon.
