  • Leave it to the Germans to name their weapon after what was used to kill the diety EVERYONE liked. (Balder)

  • "The primary role of the relatively untrained pilot was to aim the aircraft at its target bomber and fire its armament of rockets. The pilot and the fuselage containing the rocket engine would then land using separate parachutes, while the nose section was disposable."

I was picturing something more like a Kamikaze.

  • "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon." It plays into horror tropes using "found footage. "

Also, "Digging Up the Marrow." It's another found footage, but it's down to earth (in storytelling, not plot) with AMAZING practical effects and an actor who is way too hilarious to fit his role. If you like adult swim you'll recognize him.

    Edit:

Also, "Oats Studios" is awesome. "series of experimental short films that envision post-apocalyptic worlds and nightmarish scenarios" -imdb

SCP: Overlord by Evan Royalty is free on YouTube and a fun watch.

Also, people might be over it, but I don't think they realize it's being updated - Kane Pixels is making more "Back Rooms" content on YouTube aswell.

  • Online is always a pain with insurance providers. My partner switched to online during covid. When the pandemic ended, we had to switch to a way shittier provider. Her doctors leave the practice once a month, no joke. The new doctors always forget to refill her medications or straight-up say, "they need to see her first," even if she had literally just seen the other doctor.

All that being said, it's helped her a lot. I'm the one with ADD, but she has really bad anxiety. It helps that she doesn't have to go out to see her provider. We also live in the country, and she hates the drive/ can't drive, so that's nice too. I still go in person because in person stuff always works better with my ADD/ scheduling.

  • As a long-time fan of CN and AS, this always happens. Their stuff always gets pushed/ split between platforms like crazy. It's a lot more common now, but they've always had that problem. I love their content, but damn does it make me want to sail the seas.

  • Please tell me it's as good as my daydream! I'm checking it out rn.

  • I'd love a children's book that helps kids in queer families deal with judgment from their piers. I used to "mask." I still do on accident. I still use gender neutral terms to refer to my partner because I'm terrified of being othered.

I love this story, I love the pink undertonees. I just want to see a baby flamingo explain why they have two dad's to another flamingo, sooooo bad now. Not to mention, if it's in San Diego, Dr. Suess is in our blood. We NEED the book.

  • I didn't say that. Wrong comment chain.

  • I'm a communist. You guys came to debate yourselves.

  • We could be nuked today

I agree, we should focus more on climate change, though.

  • I'd say his replacement is Alex Jones, and his replacement is Joe Rogan. It's just a series of ignorant men with microphones and an even more ignorant audience.

  • I thought for years that was a badly photoshopped image of Joe Biden. I never watched Marvel movies.

  • Sounds like an engineer

  • We have a bot problem, but we also have admins/ mods that don't want to bloat their numbers with bots (mostly). The fediverse helps us hold each other accountable, and if any community is full of bots, you defedirate them. I don't mind the auto posters that seed content. I like the OSRS update bot, etc...

  • Askreddit was a scummy Karma farm already. This still sucks, though.

  • Have you heard his friends speak? They are BRAZEN.

That kid that ruined Fromstoft's Elden Ring, award ceremony, interviewed one of P-Diddy's closest friends. I'm not really a fan, but the interview caught me off guard. The guy straight up says, "Come over, so P-Diddy can rape you," maybe 5 times. Again, I'm not a fan, but the kid is 17, and it speaks to the situation.

    Edit: it's this video: https://youtu.be/oAxIs9MgepA?si=RKfwOQqN2lmgzVEY

  • Web UI for touch screens is a lot different than keyboard and mouse. I still switch to desktop most of the time because the mobile site will lack critical info, though. They "have" to streamline the experience for mobile, but I hate it when they fully remove features.

  • "Alleged"? How could you accidentally leave heavy equipment on someone else's property? They trespassed.
