My stream cut out just after that, so I'll have to wait to see replays and see if there's a penalty. Could even be a race ban for Verstappen which I would find hilarious (I think he's only one penalty point away from a ban, right?)

I thought Russell was ok. He did brake, but it didn't seem egregious. Verstappen was already nearly alongside even before that, which didn't help him

If Verstappen would drive respectfully under safety car like everyone else, he wouldn't have accidentally overtaken there.

Actually it's on the Aston Martins as well, but most teams don't seem to have one

I'm in a similar situation - I badly hurt my best friend from school and we stopped talking. This was over a decade ago. Nope, we Brits use feet and inches for height. Miles for long distances, meters for medium distances, inches for small distances and millimetres for very small. If you're old then you probably use feet for medium distances. Pints for alcohol, litres for everything else. Stone for the weight of people, kg for everything else unless you're over 60 or cooking, in which case it's pounds and ounces. Speed is in miles per hour unless you're in physics class, then it's meters per second

My guess would be it's because Verstappen and Russell were right alongside, then Verstappen went off the track, then Verstappen was several car lengths ahead. That's an advantage gained even if he didn't explicitly overtake or prevent an overtake off track. That close to the end of the race, it's better to give the place back and overtake than risk a penalty which would drop you several places
