There are still dipshits saying "it's just hot air" gaslighting me on a daily basis. But yes we are the next Ukraine right now, it's a mirror image. But instead of Russia's dog shit economy, horde of orcs, and soviet weapons, it's the United Fucking States. We are completely fucked if we don't become pro active. In my opinion an American civil war is the only hope for our survival. And we should be intervening. A large group of armed Canadians should be going into the US when their civil war starts and backing up the real Americans and helping them fight against the fascist traitors. If we just sit here with our thumbs up our asses then Trump has a chance to solidify his power, and then we have no choice but to get fucked.

Yes totally I have been bested I admit it. There is no contention around a wealth tax. Economists generally agree its a good idea and will be a successful policy.

it's just such a deeply fucking unserious idea to wait for them. Like there is no chance in hell that we can do anything if Trump solidifies his power and points the military at Canada. We are not going to be able to get ready. Our only hope is Americans ejecting him from power before that happens. We can help, and increase our chances, or we can sit here and wait and become the 51st state. Whats the point in living if we have to be subjects of fucking Donald Trump. If you think it's "bad faith" to be against a wealth tax, then I know for a fact you have not looked into any debate about the topic, because there absolutely no consensus. Maybe you have a book that argues in favor of a wealth tax and that's fine, I am open to arguments in favor of it. But saying I'm bad faith, when I suggested an alternative, is fucking removed.

Mate, the united states is now the leader of the axis of evil. The world order that has made our lives peaceful just collapsed. They just stabbed their ally in the back, flipped sides, and are planning to invade our country. There wont be any elections if we don't stop Trump. This isn't about Canadian politics right now. We have to form an army and storm the white house or democracies around the world will fall. Americans are going to have a civil war and we need to fight with them to help them win and eject the traitor.

I don't think a wealth tax is smart. I think the current slate of billionaires that are aligned with fascism should be rounded up and executed. But I am pretty sure every economist agrees that a wealth tax doesn't make any sense mathematically. People have a bunch of stock either because of founding companies or investing early, and then the public gets to buy the stock, if the public thinks a company is valuable the stock rises and people become wealthy. It doesn't mean that they actually have that much money that they can deploy. I think it makes more sense to have rules that prevent people using their stock as collateral for loans.

There is no reason to brainstorm optimistic outcomes. We can see what they are doing. It's an authoritarian takeover, they are allies with Russia, and they are parroting all of the same things about Canada, that Putin was saying about Ukraine. Like there is no reason not to believe them. They are telling us exactly what the plan is. There has to be a civil war, or we are fucked. Canada should be helping the real Americans win their civil war. It's in our interest to go down there and burn down the white house again.

Americans are fighting, but they are losing. It is in our best interest to help.

I saw some discussion of them taking people with no experience for certain rolls like 3d printing/drone building stuff while you get training. But if Canadian leaders get their heads out of there ass, and we decide that we are going to put up a fight, I will enlist here.

I doubt he thought it would go differently. But he did an amazing job showing the world how utterly depraved Trump and Vance are. There can be no question now that they are Putin stooges. The United States lost the cold war, Putin won without firing a single bullet. It is out in the open.

We should burn it down again. I want to march on Washington with Canadian flags, and American flags, and signs that say "Save America" if the US police/Military gun us down it might make the Americans wake up and eject their dictator. It's an existential threat to humanity. We can't afford to wait.

Good work, although I am pretty convinced that our MLA's and Premiers have no fucking idea what is going on. Or they are just keeping people in the dark to avoid panic or something. When you try to ring the alarms people just think you're unhinged and overreacting because you don't like trump.
