They didn’t only stop fighting- they tried to find a middle ground. Dipshits.

You know what isn't protected in the US? Political affiliation.

Start denying MAGA trash employment and service.

The civil war has already started- and the “opposition” seems pretty content to spend the first stages allowing MAGA to set up the battlefields and terms of engagement to their liking.

At this point the blue states deserve it. Every day MAGA isn’t scared to leave their homes is a day you’ve failed.

Come on, pay attention. “Freedom of speech” means, and has ALWAYS meant “receiving no criticism but maybe receiving praise for saying slurs.” Everyone knows this.

The “not thinking about it” is what makes them racists.

Asked and answered, repeatedly, in almost every relevant discussion on this site (to say nothing of every history book you’ve ever read)- but hey, you already know this, and yet, have decided that getting defensive is the best response here.

The American people are the government. They’ve abdicated responsibility. The citizens are the ones allowing this to continue. They have LONG been aware they can’t count on their elected officials- and your comment does nothing but give them cover for their absolute cowardice.

I have ZERO doubts that Americans will fail to handle this and in doing so make it the problem of everyone who told you this was going to happen for 30 years.

Right, Americans are special and have families and jobs! Nothing at all like every other revolutionary in history who risked nothing and didn’t have to worry about their safety.

Don’t worry, keep your head down, I’m sure someone will be along to save you any day now.

Sounds like you have a lot of Americans with nothing to lose. I thought standing up for yourselves and doing a big important rebellion is the the thing you’ve been loudly taking credit for for centuries. Or was that just some ancestral stolen valor bullshit?
