  • Why don’t you just back things up through iCloud or Google Drive?

  • No. I’m afraid Stage Manager is not available for iOS

  • Yeah, I can confirm I’m getting this issue on Mlem as well. The only way to fix it is to sign in again on my end

  • I just opened up 10 different apps with no issue, so there doesn’t appear to be a limit

  • I’m a Mlem guy myself. I like a well designed and native (Swift on Apple platforms) UI. I’ve been absolutely loving it! I can’t say I used Liftoff for very long when I was testing as I ruled it out due to its non native UI relativity quickly haha. But as far as apps go, it looked alright. Just not for me. It sounds like there are many out there loving it (Liftoff)!

  • As of right now, yes. That is correct. Your best bet is to go manually upload images to a hosting site such s Imgur and add the link to your post in the links section. That will format everything properly and is actually how other Lemmy apps are doing it right now, it’s just not automatic on Mlem right now. The devs have however said that they’re working on adding the functionality so it should be added pretty soon

  • It doesn’t look like I actually have the permissions to assign issue to people or add labels. I even thought I was just missing something and looked at GitHub’s documentation to see how to do it and the button wasn’t there on my screen. But I submitted the issue and tagged you. Hope there’s a bit in there for ya. And thanks for making such a great app! I’m loving it on my Mac so far too

  • Wow, this works great! Sorry, I don’t use GitHub very much haha. Where do you want me to report issues? Should I just post them as an issue on the main page or is there a specific iPad version I should use?

  • Oh, nice one! I should’ve thought of that work around haha

  • Oh, that’s awesome dude, thank you so much! And perfect reasonable about not working on three platforms at once for now haha! I’ll definitely give it a go tomorrow (Australian time) and report some bugs although I’m admittedly not 100% sure what you mean about cloning the branch. Do you mean on GitHub?

  • I certainly haven’t hit any limit although I haven’t exactly pushed too hard. I’ve had around 3 or 4 open at once maybe?

  • Ayy that’s awesome! And it looks great so far! I love the custom swipe animation for comments! Are there any plans to bring it to macOS through catalyst? I got it working (sorta) but I’m no programmer so I couldn’t solve any of the bugs haha. But it’s looking sick, great job!

  • Reasonable assumption haha

  • Sure does! Just tap back again after going to your communities page

  • So does Memmy. But my preference lies with Mlem, personally

  • I mean I can see that argument but imo an upvote system is worthless without a downvote system or at least it’s not as useful. It’s less of a voting system if you can’t downvote

  • Yeah, that was good! Apollo shall be missed

  • no crossfade

It’s really dumb that it took them this long, especially since it’s been on the Android and macOS versions for SO long, but Apple actually has added crossfade to Apple Music in iOS 17 (which is in beta).

    no ‘playlist radio’

I’m not 100% sure what you’re referring to but Apple Music definitely has a variety of radios you can access. If you Haptic Touch on a song you can tap the “create station” button and get similar songs to it. There’s also a personal station which plays music it thinks you would like in a mix of music you listen to. In addition to this, there’s an autoplay button which will play similar music to whatever you’re listening to (in the queue), such as music from a playlist. If you’re referring to a create station button on playlists, that would be nice for sure. I guess the only work around for that would be playing a playlist, turning on autoplay, and skipping the playlist which isn’t exactly a graceful solution.

But each to their own! Spotify has its perks
