  • Here to ruffle a few feathers, aren't you? :D

  • Trump has an uncanny ability to secure bank loans though

    Not after 2020 anymore because:

President Donald Trump's lenders have forgiven around $287 million in debt that he didn't pay back, and most of it was related to Chicago's Trump Tower, according to a New York Times report

I am sure Deutsche Bank is not going to give him another Cent and any other bank will go and count stairs, because he is lying about everything, even about how many floors his buildings have. The times it was easy for him are over.

On top of the 83 million he has a huge amount to pay to his lawyers and since he is not accepting the outcome of the trial and he has another 14 or so going on... and taking money out of his election funds is now also harder to do and getting elected is more expensive because Koch is helping his opponent and Koch has a truly endless warchest.

Every financial transaction he does is under a looking glas now, no more face value and trust, he is seen as the financial sector should have seen him in the past: A naked "king" that pretends to wear nice clothes.

  • Bikini Bottom

  • "It appears that Trump knowingly and intentionally broke the law. The only question is how many laws."

What a dumb question, all of them of course, because he is the greatest law breaker of all time. /s

  • Plants vs Zombies on PC.

Great, unique, iconic, still fun to play. Its biggest achievement: I have brought a lot of people into the hobby by making them play this as their first video game and there wasn't a single one not having fun. Tower defense is as a whole an underrated genre if we talk about the best games of all time. It also is a game that offers achievements that add a lot to the gameplay by challenging you to change your tactics.

They of course had to make the second one mobile only and on top ruin it with microtransactions. :( Greed is why we can't have nice things.

  • And I guess that's the reason why two of his lawyers withdrew, one even the day before trial, because they could not convince him to stay silent and did not want to watch him testify and could not hinder him to testify because of the law.

  • Reminding him to care for his kids

by treating him like a kid will not help. Yes, making clear that you expect him to share the care work with you is important. Making rules together can be a way of doing it, but he needs to do it because he is the dad and her partner and a reasonable adult that takes their responsibilities serious, not because he wants a BJ at the end of the week. They both need couple therapy, because he isn't a responsible adult and she infantilizes him on top.

  • Same here, my partner used earbuds and I earplugs. :D

  • People that need sound to fall asleep scare me, so imagine me in the opposite corner.

  • Aaaand that's why two of his lawyers withdrew only shortly before the trial one even just the day before. They realised how unhinged he is and that there was no way to stop him, so they left the sinking ship.

  • Rule

    Jump
  • or worse when you realize someone you were joking with was actually being completely serious

I liked the stories about the moon landing not happening for many years (I'm 58), not because I believe it didn't happen, but because I loved looking into what would have to happen to cover it up and how impossible it would be to cover it up. It was a joke until I realised that people were starting to take it seriously. Alternative history was a hobby I was into, I was writing (terrible) stories myself and then they turned everything into "alternative facts" and made up history and took it for real and I just had to give up the hobby completely. It is no fun to write or read a story about a flat earth or people living inside the globe or aliens when you know someone actually believes it to be true. That's why we can't have nice things:

like half the worlds gone insane

  • Other countries realize Trump is easily manipulated

I mean the EU adapted very fast to him not reading and being clueless and Juncker used ‘brightly coloured, simple flashcards’ to explain trade to Trump during meeting.

  • He lost another 2 lawyers. Is there a number out there, how many lawyers he had that were withdrawing? Many withdrawing only days/ a day before a trial, which a lawyer only ever does if they are deadly ill or their client is so unhinged that they can not risk being with them in a court room.

  • A shutdown and a fresh start also deletes files that aren't used anymore and the PC does check itself for hardware problems. Starting a PC could take a long time in the past, but my current 7 year old system starts in about 10 seconds, a newer system could start faster. I also turn off all peripherals like monitors and printer etc. with one switch after the computer is off, to make sure there is not a single light still wasting electricity. Standby devices in a common houshold use so much electricity, that it amounts to a lot of money over a year. But I guess we are still in the phase of convinience over climate and people have money to waste too.

  • From your link:

but the option to choose a new time was greyed out

Which only ever happened for me if I had already pushed back an update multiple times. Which then means they had all the time in the world to make sure they do the update before they start such a critical, multiple days long process. These are people without forced update they would never make updates and they are the reason forced updates have to happen now.

  • I do not care. I only watch 10 channels and these are in my favorites. I do not use the algorithm and thanks to European law the frontpage is deactivated. I also ever watch only one video per day and then do something else, so they can slow down the website as much as they want since I am not scrolling. I click on a channel and on a video, that's it. If it gets too bad I rather not use Youtube anymore, it is not the end of the world.

  • The mimic table ate the contract.

  • Bish bash bosh.

I do the same, but the meal did not have a name. Until today, it's called "Bishbashbosh" now. I had to use google to translate to understand what it means, I am from Germany.
