OP didn't say that at all... They only pointed out how expensive raising a child is and that people will make the decision that is in their best interests.

My fiancée and I are planning to do something similar! Just low key and not expensive. Perhaps even multiple smaller parties/barbeques to have a more intimate feel to them. My favorite weddings I've been to have been the smaller, less planned ones. And I will definitely bring a pair of comfy shoes to mine :)

These are not black and white capitalist or socialist systems. Each countries economy is different and more often than not a mix of economic ideologies. No pure capitalist economy exists, nor a pure socialist economy. Trying to argue that these are or are not problems with capitalism is a bit of a moot point because of that.

Human productivity has exponentially increased since the beginning of the industrial revolution. We produce far more food and clothing than can be consumed and there are more than enough homes for people to live in. Generic medicine can often be produced for pennies.

There is no reason that we as a society cannot guarantee at least a basic standard of living consisting of sustenance, a safe place to rest and relax, treatment for common ailments, etc.

I'm aware, but that doesn't negate my point. The tenant company still has to pay more in utilities and such to bring people back to the office. Whether they pay that cost for 10, 20, however many years is extraneous.

Justifying the rental expense doesn't really make sense, because they end up paying more in utilities in addition to the rent. If you're still on the hook for a lease and have most employees WFH, just downsize when the lease ends or move everything remote if possible.
