Weird. I’ve been subbing and am in a master’s program for elementary education and I’m pretty fucking sure they teach handwriting or I’ve been in a virtual world the last half a year.

I would have students do their first few assignments by handwriting while in class as a way to gauge how their voice is and then let them use tech after.

I think that’s a decent way to weed out people using AI or not for their own thoughts on subjects.

Efficiency =/= Accuracy or safety

I can efficiently put a screw in drywall with an electric drill, but it doesn’t mean it will hold it up or attach it to anything.

My opinion is that all of these public fights are just theater distracting from passing things behind our back. In a few days they will suddenly make up after they pass whatever they want.

I hate Musk too but, sadly, even he should have a trial before deportation.

I really think they (the Rs) are doing this on purpose to fundamentally change the other party and force it to move. It’s part of a plan to destroy their opposition by diluting it so badly that it implodes and they have no real opposition.

I was teaching my kid how to nail while doing one of those Home Depot kids projects that can you bring home. I held it up to show him and nailed too hard with the way I was holding it that the nail went through and pierced my left hand at the base of thumb all the way to the muscle.

I promptly told him, “that’s why the correct way to nail is to put it on the ground to do this and do not hold it like that, now daddy needs to go get a bandage real quick.”

I cleaned it, bandaged it, finished the project, and then went to the doctor just in case because it was fairly deep. 🤣
