  • The DC for the shot was much higher than you think. He rolled a combined 24 when the DC was 25.

If he rolled a 1 he would have been shot dead before getting a shot off at all. Instead, he grazed the target's ear from over 100 feet away. That took skill.

  • I so desperately want it to be revealed to be a conspiracy because it would further discredit Trump. But I know it isn't, which is so utterly terrifying for our democracy.

  • "But fuck the bystanders that caught the bullets intended for the former president, one of whom is dead. The ruling class is more important than them, regardless of team."

  • This guy has no idea what the fuck he's talking about. Any armed security worth their salt would have snipers on roofs at large gatherings. I see them at sporting events, why not at a rally?

The man with a rifle he saw was almost certainly working with Trump's security detail, and if not, he would have been spotted not long after this guy saw him, and taken out before he could have taken a shot.

  • I understand why Trump would be in frame, but not why the flag would be in the same spot AND upside-down.

If the flagpole fell in the confusion, that could explain it being upside-down but not in frame.

If the flag were already there, that would explain it being in frame but not upside-down.

    It all seems too coincidental.

  • This photo looks like propaganda from a fabricated event, not a real candid from an actual attempt on a political figurehead's life.

Why is the flag upside down?

Why is it perfectly in frame to fill the space that would otherwise be blank sky?

Why was Trump allowed by his security detail to stand back up?

It's all extremely suspicious and screams "preplanned" to me

  • I think I'd rather have proton be my password manager than anyone else out there, and then take advantage of the other services they offer with it. Unless I wanted to keep my password manager entirely offline, which is far more secure but far less convenient

  • Or if you have a little more money, there's the Proton pass which comes with VPN, Email, Drive, Calendar, and Password Manager. All protected under swiss privacy laws. They have a free tier of their drive with 5GB storage so you can collaborate on other people's documents without needing to pay yourself, and they have a $120/yr US Tier for 500GB for 1 person, and a $288/year US Tier for 3TB for up to 6 people. If you don't need that much storage and don't care about anything other than the email, they have a 15GB plan with just email and calendar for only $48/yr US.

This is not an ad, I am a real person with no connection to Proton except a deep respect for their business, and an even deeper hatred for Microsoft

  • If you don't cause the carbon to be captured, it's not a credit. If you protect existing trees, no new carbon gets captured that wouldn't otherwise. Plant the trees on land that you cannot lease/sell for logging. THAT'S a credit.

I don't earn $500 by not buying the LEGO THE LORD OF THE RINGS: RIVENDELL™, I simply didn't spend it. See how a credit is different from stopping a loss?
