Yeah, my dad was on a bivad 25 years ago for almost a year. Back then it was the size of a washing machine. By the end of his hospital stay they introduced the satchel kind with batteries.

Heh thanks, but it’s just that I’m printing 2000+sqft of high res pdfs from many gigs of files at a time.

Maybe I should have specified print to PDF.

Say I print something, and it’s going to take 5 minutes, I go and work on an email or something, and the save dialog pops up and what I’m typing for the email starts going into/overwrites the save name. Hate it.

I think they are saying that if you do everthingg in that list, meaning perfectly secure everything yourself, that it’s a useless service because that’s the list of things it does. It seems to be written by a sarcastic asshole.

there's is a lot of nuances with those top three. they sound pretty good as an idea but I'm against trumps definition and actions on each of those items

I apparently missspoke. it was just a message and a call from a specific gov entity saying not to respond yet, until they can get more details. sounds like there is pushback but not quite canceled.

now its getting canceled.

edit. apparently its not canceled but some entitys within the gov are instructing their employees not to respond.

now everyone is getting messages to not do it. and calls.

lots of federal workers don't work a normal schedule or get government email at home. they won't even know about this til its deadline is past. not that that's the only problem with this.
