Oh ffs, I wasn't even talking about you specifically, the "you" was just generally addressing anyone, but yea I see it applies you completely.
Don't worry, I won't bother you with my "attacks" any longer, in fact I'll rather block you outright, because I can't stand people like you who scream "attack" or other bullshit accusations whenever someone is just in their vicinity. So I'll never reply to you ever again, win-win!
So what, what's wrong about expressing "I don't like this"? How's that different from expressing "I like this"?
The only "toxicity" is that it seems there are downvote trolls, so almost every post automatically gets a downvote immediately. But you can just ignore if you only have that one or two downvotes. If you can't handle that, you can't be surprised if you get called a snowflake.
I dunno. The way it works for my old phone, is that it listens for a while, then goes into "processing" and then outputs the text. Faster phones should work on the fly, but I really don't know anything else.
In the app there's a field to test, so try that I guess.
I find it almost bizarre if DS9 isn't someone's favourite, unless a) they haven't watched it, or b) they're really against grey and murky morality (which a lot of TOS fans apparently are).
That said, I also think Picard S03 was unbelievably horrible. There's fan service and there's absolutely mindless trash like this. When I hear about reliving past glories of TNG, I'm thinking episodes like Tapestry or The Inner Light and not something Genesis-level of contrivance.
SNW rehashes everything from older shows, but at least isn't dumbed down too much.
Well, even the phone and messages apps are deprecated now, and the aosp keyboard is very problematic on lots of apps, so soon enough there won't be much foss left beyond the kernel.
I don't know, isn't TTS an AOSP feature in Android? As in, a foss part rather than a proprietary Google thing? Look into what alternatives like Graphene do about this.
As long as something is running a desktop OS, anything is a use case for it. Maybe that's exactly the point why it's x86. It has a 12" inch sceeen after all, so it's not like it's just a mini 8" tablet you take to bed to watch vids before sleeping.
The processors do, that doesn't mean the desktop Linux distributions are well optimised for it. The available Linux phones have garbage battery life and a bunch of other issues.
There's a lot of greenery on Earth - seaweeds recycle a huge amount of CO2, as are all the plants we use and eat. It would be completely enough, especially as we keep killing off all the other animals that produce CO2.
It's just unfortunate that we're destroying the oceans too, and agriculture is a heavy industry with more polution. And while we kill off the harmless or useful wild animals, we replace them with livestock, and you know where that is going.
As individuals, we really can't do much in this regard. I guess you can do more biking instead of driving, reusing older products, buying local, stuff like that, but this really won't make a dent when industries keep using the dirtiest possible processes to save a cent, or if nuclear power keeps being lobbied out.
Well I don't vote on things I don't read, but indeed so many links are so garbage.
Slide for Reddit had this neat browser built-in that would pull just the text like in reader mode. It didn't work all the time, but damm, so good. Normal web pages are just sickening.
Ideally link aggregators should contain the entire article, but who really wants to do that, especially since often even selecting all text is a pain.
Does everything run on ARM? Steam, Wine, stuff like that? Are the power optimisations as good on Linux/ARM as on x86? Not saying they aren't, but I imagine on a laptop replacement thingy x86 makes sense due to this kind of support.
