I watch bluey every night. We try to limit it two episodes at a time. Poignant is the perfect word to describe it! It feels weird to cry multiple times a week lol.
It's medical advice because it came from a doctor in a professional setting when we were discussing how to get more iron in their diets since we don't eat many fortified foods. Kale and broccoli are close enough nutritionally to be swapped if one is just looking for the vitamins and minerals. Lastly, It the longest I've ever continuously followed a recommendation and it has made my life way easier. That makes it the best advice I've gotten.
I don't want a government shutdown. I don't want more expensive subsidies for corn. I don't care about NFL stadiums. I do want the disaster relief. I am ambivalent on the other farm aid because on one hand most of that money goes to big ag who does not need it but on the other hand small farmers depend on that money too. I think the concept of a debt ceiling is dumb in our current economy and I would like it abolished.
That being said. There is time to eliminate the debt ceiling without shutting down the government. The government needs to be funded. Fund the government, help those poor people smacked by storms then get rid of the debt ceiling.
I doubt Johnson can get this done in time. Hopefully Musk emailed Johnson some draft legislation with his marching orders. As it stands now a foreign born billionaire is threatening members of congress and appears to be dictating policy. This makes me sad.
Many years ago my kids pediatrician recommended feeding the kids kale smoothies. I didn't have any
Kale at home so I cooked bunch of broccoli to mush and mixed it with bananas. Those kids eat half a pound of broccoli for breakfast just about every day now. They also eat it raw or crunchy cooked. Definitely the best medical advice I've ever gotten and the kids are used to a very simple and quick to make breakfast that keeps them full for hours.
Tldr: Kids constantly surprise me and sometimes they like vegetables.
Can you expand on your last point? Where do we move to from document based software? That seems like a bigger change than the change from typewriter to word processor.
Yeah. Pbs kids is great. Getting pbs kids on a TV that got bad signal was my impetus for installing a big antenna in my attic, setting up nextpvr server and getting my home setup going. I'll never understand why kids like Daniel Tiger but I can get down with Mecha Builders for a few episodes at a time.
I think your last point is oft overlooked. No one liked Gaetz because he was reportedly really douchey. Showing naked pictures of women to people who did not ask to see them is one example. There was also that time he over threw the top GOP congressional fundraiser because he allowed an investigation against him. When that guy from North Carolina (south Carolina maybe? I don't remember his name but he used a wheel chair) talked about drug use and sex parties it was widely understood at the time to be about Gaetz. Then that guy had a bunch of oppo dumped against him so he's probably working for a church or some shit now.
Tldr. Matt Gaetz is such an entitled shithead that other very entitled people didn't like him.
Sky valley used to be a nice ski place in north Georgia USA. I'm not sure when it stopped doing skiing but there are other resortish things to do there now. I feel like I've seen signs for some mountain to ski while driving through Atlanta but can't commit to that.
There are as many "explanations" for the efficacy of psilocybin as there are models of consciousness. The one I like is that the drug causes an increase in neuroplasticity and that allows your brain to reroute its network more easily. I find it does great for helping me decontextualize experiences and strip them of the heavy negative emotional baggage some experiences have.
I don't know, I've heard it works well alongside therapy and having sessions to help integrate the experience. I usually just microdose and meditate with an intention a few timesin the week before a legit trip and let the drugs do their thing. Sometimes it's unpleasant in the moment but I always start a timer when I dose so I have seen over the years that the unpleasant parts are only like 15 minutes to an hour of the 6ish hour experience. Those 15 minutes can feel like forever because it messes with one's perception of time but even that gets less weird with practice.
They are powerful little guys though. I went to church after my most recent trip because it felt really right. That was odd since I'm not a practicing Christian anymore although I don't hate religion by any means I've just never gotten a lot out of it.
I like my baseball team's radio and TV announcers quite a bit (there sure are some bad mlb announcers though). I haven't watched wrasslin' in 20 or so years but definitely the announcers are a fun part.
Read through this scroll a little to find your use case, it's in there. I'm sorry if being suggested to read seems rude or uninviting or something but I really think for this it'd be faster for you to do so. These people's articles have always helped me and I've been using Linux for 20 years. dd stands for data duplicator and I just had to look that up lol.
No guardrails but you have a second to reconsider when typing your password. The other day I used some gui util as sudo and deleted my /bin folder somehow. I would have noticed that in the cli.
Is this Bruce Springsteen now?
