  • I have an E-ink e reader. It’s nice on the eyes and books are super cheap along with not needing a bunch of physical space for the books. I love an actual book but I prefer the convenience of an electronic device and with the e-reader I can have at least a paper look and feel.

  • Mankato is easy to use and looks nice but I’ve also been using it for years. It has the power of the AUR but if people are saying other might be better they might be right. I would just stick to something Arch based because of the AUR. I saw a comment about endeavor and I might try it myself.

  • $90 a month for gigabit from cox in Southern California. Shits great and I only have the occasional few minutes of downtime in the middle of the night when nobody should be on the internet anyways, biggest downside is I only get 100 upload. They’ve treated me right so far and I plan to continue their service.

Sorry about the shilling they’re just good.

  • I’ve been using Linux since I was 14 like over a decade ago. I was forced to by my moms crazy boyfriend and when I had the chance I immediately installed windows. Long story short I absolutely hated it and switch back to Linux within 6 months, haven’t looked back since.

  • I do have to vouch for sometimes the command line is easier, not with everything but sometimes. Like my VPN sometimes it’s a little slow on the uptake and finding a server all that nonsense but I can also just have a few taps away at the command line and bing bang boom it’s done.
