totally disagree with you. The older men pied pipering these young men away are entirely doing it out of grievances about economic status, which has family units falling apart as a side effect (most men can't afford to support a stay at home partner).

The young men are buying it, and joining right-wing organizations which prop up the economic status quo for the rich, hurt their own economic prospects, and do nothing to solve the root problem.

You seem to get close to the truth when you admit the thing about "capitalism not giving a fuck about externalities", but I can't tell if you think that's okay because of a naturalistic fallacy, or if you're admitting that women's labor is systemically undervalued by capitalism and it needs to be addressed.

it's always funny to hear men focus on the education part of the equation, which pays nothing, and when its shown that women statistically do better they see as 'unnatural' / 'needing fixing' ...

... but ignore or dismiss the career part of the equation, which makes up the majority of adult life, is the portion that generates resources via pay, and is the portion that men statistically do better at.

Maybe its a side effect of the young men complaining basically having not had experienced all their privileges yet, because they've been in the education phase.

Hopefully you won't tell me you think one is natural and one is not.

edit: let me spell it out. There are 2 economic theories I see a lot - workers are suffering because the rich have hoarded the wealth, and men are suffering because women have too many resources. Guess which idea that comment supports? Guess who actually benefits from that rhetoric? It ain't men.

This whole comment thread is taking place in the context of a guy who is responding to a meme about creepy pua teachings (you know, the thing that causes all the abuse I suffered) with 'whaa men have it so hard', an I'm being called unempathetic and accused of whataboutism. Thick irony fellas.

I get that you guys think you should have instant sympathy from me for some reason because some of you are feeling slightly suicidal. Let me illustrate for you in living color why this woman is having trouble having sympathy:

• when I was a teen, I attempted suicide twice
• because I was dealing with a pedophile father
• after moving out and getting on my feet, I was sexually assaulted by the CEO of the startup I worked, had to leave and start over again

This illustrates a scientific truth that we have less sympathy for people facing things that we've overcome ourselves, especially if we feel we've overcome a 'harder' version. Imagine how hard I laugh (or how much I want to smash something) when a guy says "women have it too easy now".

young men don't need to be told that 'women are writing them off' because we aren't rushing to comfort them (at cost to ourselves). They need to fucking learn to adapt without women's help, and they need to understand that women not having time to help them or be sympathetic to them anymore is a side-effect of women being fucked by the system too, not because of women 'having too much freedom'. If they cannot admit that women don't have some kind of 'extra help' and cannot stop trying to tear us down to build themselves up, they are not going to be helped by us - obviously. That's self-preservation.

While in prison on Trump / Barr's watch, Epstein was killed, ending his prosecution (and preventing a discovery process that would have unearthed a lot of shit) . Prosecution turned to the 2 prison guards, who took the fall for 6 mos. in jail and 100 hours of community service.

This is how the rich cover their crimes.

And I don't mean to just implicate Trump. Read the wiki on Epstein sometime. . Trump, Clinton, Prince Andrew, Acosta, Barr, Dershowitz - and those are just the politically connected names. Lots of rich people used Epstein to source young children to rape.

What confuses me is that you read a comment chain where a man told a woman that the reason that men are suffering is that women have too many resources, which I rebutted. And that made you want to argue with ME.

Why let the sexism slide from your fellow man but try to police my response to it?

here's why I honestly think it keeps going this way:

men keep seeking symapthy for this in public, from mixed gender groups including women.

women have no reason to be sympathetic to men in this case, as they have already had it shitty and these same men didn't care when it wasn't their problem

some of these same men seeking sympathy are actively blaming women and saying that the fix to their problems is to go back to the 1950s, when women were routinely lobotomized for men's convenience (the guys pitching 1950s USA always leave that bit out).

Here's where you crossed the line from 'helping men' to 'blaming women'. These mens problems are their own, not the fault of women. And you saying that women are the reason they aren't getting enough attention is exactly the type of sexist shit that leads to incels.

Women had to adjust to be expected to work and do housework, still make less money per hour of labor, still represent the minority of ceos/leaders/comfy asshole billionaires, way more likely to be the ones in danger physically when picking a partner incorrectly, but go on guys about how life is so hard for you. Sounds like most of you are considerably less able to adapt than the women around you.

The only bit that isn't going to plan is the reproduction rate. The rich are getting pissed that you plebs aren't rushing to feed and educate their future workforce. Abortion rights are being taken and child labor is back on the menu
