Thanks, I appreciate it. I just never needed to do it before but I'm getting to the point that it would be very useful for me. 🙏

No need for windows to game anymore, steam/proton, lutrus and wine handle what I need just fine these days. This is more about using Microsoft excel as I have some union business that operates out of an excel file and Google sheets and libreoffice do not play nice with all the macros going on in it. Literally just to run excel.

I'll read up on it myself, but can virtual box run a windows instance from inside my Linux partition? I've never done any virtualization but that would be about the only thing from windows that would be useful. Just so I could use our excel doc to do billhead.

Steam deck and my desktop. The only thing that would be useful is if I could find a program that would work with excel macros for union business. I basically have always used computers for gaming and browsing.

Do you just use the trackpads and a custom control scheme or is it friendly enough with the controller setup? That's pretty cool either way.

Do you mean handheld or while docked with m&k? I didn't think it had gamepad controls.

Maybe try making it an emulation machine? I use mine for both normal PC gaming and emulation while I'm working out of town.

Look at games like high fleet and mech engineer on PC. They have kinda non-standard UI.

I'm definitely the weirdo on this one. The fine tuned controlling is way better on m&k but I couldn't get the hang of it. The analog stick for movement felt a lot more intuitive to me but you definitely have considerably less control aim. The lock on feature works pretty well so I make it work.

I really like this game. I think most people play with mouse and keyboard but I found myself too used to the using a controller because I play it on steam deck. You can get pretty into fine tuning your individual parts but I leaving everything stock and just go blast some rocks in space and keep stacking cash.

Yup the universal charger I bought also has that setting. Just make sure to read the packaging on it but either of those places should have them. Just make sure to read the packaging and double check it'll output that voltage and amperage.

If you're in the us, Best Buy has a few different multivarrel options where you can also change the voltage from 3.3v to up to 12v depending on what voltage the lamp is. Best buy is not the only store, you can get them online as well. I just say best buy because I needed one for my li-ion charger.

I should probably give it a shot. I bet I'd probably like it. I like most of the soulslikes I've played. Mortal shell was interesting as well but it was brutal and stiff. Still a cool game though.

I never played the original but the trailers for the sequel look really interesting. It's on my radar along with lies of p which I actually really enjoyed the demo for.

Yeah kind of an interesting take on a "The Giver" style of graphics. Other games have since had similar presentations which is neat.

I have got to try this game again. I bought it a long time ago and probably only put 2 hours into it. Super weird but interesting game.

Just the PS5 dual sense or my steam deck itself.
