I felt the same way. Lately, though, ddg has been serving unrelated garbage ads in the middle of my searches. I am now looking for something new. Startpage has some decent results so far....

I agree with your sentiment. But I don't fault the party itself for having grown to cover so much turf that there is room for conservatives. I don't like that and I wish it would fragment and support multiple parties - but alas FPTP.

They say the carrot cells are already grown for laboratory uses. Food scientists get up to weird stuff and they need standardized materials as basic building blocks. So there are already facilities that make this stuff and they bought it.

In my experience with undergrads, they probably heard "Oh wow, lab grown carrots are a thing and you can buy them!" and they bought them from a food science lab supply company that made them from pureed whole carrots, but they told the reporter it was lab grown.

My question is what uv polymer did they use in that carrot printer goop that is "food safe"? When I used MSLA printers, those resins were noxious and toxic AF. I used a full face ventilator with an organic carbon filter because I didn't want to get poisoned by it.

It's because the overton window has shifted so much that the Democrats only have to give scraps to workers and that is still the best those workers will get from any viable political party. It's better than what the Republicans are offering which is getting financially pissed on or literally shot.

There are even instances of this happening to targets of governments: journalists and activists, especially. That Israeli company specializes in it and sells access to anyone who is willing to pay.

Yeah but the whole tech industry operates as Whatever-as-a-Service now, which means those ToS changes are able to be applied whenever they like. You either continue using the service or you don't. This apparently applies to lightbulbs now. Lightbulbs as a Service. Sigh.

There is a bog standard line in nearly every ToS "We have the right to modify this terms of service without notification to the user" blah blah blah. It probably even holds up in court.
