Some BEVs dont have heat pumps. If you live in a cold area, don't buy a BEV without a heat pump. Heat pumps are able to scavenge heat energy from a variety of sources and move it around the vehicle to help the battery charge.

This is why Tuberville is blocking promotions. It's the same strategy that was used by the GOP to swing the federal courts to be unqualified hacks that are loyal to the GOP. Tuberville is just a useful idiot though - he didn't come up with the idea - he's just doing what he was told to do.

I live in a city with about 2 million people. It has major sprawl and lots of guys with big trucks to compensate for little personality. The city has a brown haze floating over it that is a result of tailpipe emissions.

My solution: peer pressure. Get your smoking buddy to quit with you. Just go cold turkey - but tapering down a bit before hand might help. Don't use gum. Don't use drugs or patches. Just fucking quit. Statistics show that people who use quitting aids like vapes, gum, patches, drugs, etc, fail far more often than people who just go cold turkey.

So cold turkey with a friend. Hold each other accountable. Use each other as a support group. If they fail, sympathize with them but guilt trip them into quitting again so they can be your quit buddy.
