  • I keep wanting to switch, but the fact you just said you still use windows for some things is enough for me to just stick with windows, until Linux can do everything windows can then I feel like constantly switching is more hassle than whatever improvements Linux provides

  • Just incase you're unaware, if you're looking to learn Linux but keep the windows until you're familiar enough with Linux, there is a way to install Linux in windows as a container, it's called WSL 2.0

Might be easier for you to learn with, and if you brick it then you can just wipe the container and start again, takes minutes to do

  • And trans communities giving help and advice to trans kids, We've seen those spaces and organisations being attacked in the USA... How long until L.W is too afraid of legal action from those?

Or gay rights, or women's rights, when does it end?

  • I installed the exe you download from their website in less steps btw.

All you have to do is add the installer to steam as a non steam game, run it, then add the installed game as a non steam game too, and it's done

  • In general 5ghz isn't great for stability. Unless you're in the same room and have a clear los to the router, then 5ghz waves can struggle to reach you.

As 5ghz waves are wider than 2.4 they are also less penetrative - they can struggle to get through walls, furniture and sometimes even people.

2.4ghz can support up to around 140mbps, so just using 2.4 is generally the better option for portability.
