  • I've spent well over $2k on guitars, accessories, DLC, etc, for Rocksmith 2014. For five years I've been using it to learn bass guitar, and absolutely love it.

One day Ubi is going to turn off the servers, and I am simply going to cry.

There is no alternative I'm aware of, the new version is AI garbage from what I've heard, and I enjoy the thing I have and the songs I've paid for.

If they are not going to provide an offline mode, or the server code, then I will 100% make it my mission to pirate the game and make it playable offline.

  • Stop taking away women's agency with this "meaningful consent" bullshit.

At the time I was in the Air Force, and a bunch of us were discussing this. Well over half the women at the table has the attitude of "Are you kidding? Of course, blowing the most powerful man in the world is hot as hell".

Monica was obviously into it and an adult.

  • Sun God

    Jump
  • That was in the Red / Green / Blue mars trilogy, one of my favorites. Though I think I've seen the concept in other works as well.

Basically the temp difference between day / night caused contraction of the rail tracks, pushing the whole city forward so it was always just ahead of dawn.

  • For me it ubisoft. They've made some of my favorite series, then completely ruined them.

One day my rocksmith 2014 isn't going to work because they shut down the servers, and the over a thousand dollars I've spent on guitars, songs, cables, and pedals are going to be, well, not useless, but pretty close to it.

  • I design UI for systems infinately less likely to kill you when distracted than a vehicle interface.

The only possible glitch is that this is appearing before it was supposed to.

Being triggered specifically when the vehicle is stopped shows a lot of thought on the cover your ass for saftey lawsuits front, that was no mistake.

  • Well, I used to think an opinion couldn't be wrong, but here we are.

Being good at gaming has what ever value people ascribe to it, either the player them selves, or the people who enjoy the content.

A good chunk of my screen time after work is watching youtube videos of various gaming content creators.

There are a variety of reasons I do it, and I'm sure other people could at more.

Deciding if I'll enjoy a particular game or genre.

Learning new things about a game I already own.

Seeing how broken a game can be through glitches / speedrunning.

    Sometimes it's just fucking funny.

So take your pissy negative attitude to other peoples enjoyment and go away.

  • World size, density, and traversal have to be balanced.

I tend to play without fast travel, and skyrim meets these three pretty well, using the carts and horse for faster travel.

GTA can be bigger, with cars and planes for long distances.

Large worlds are great, if they are packed w content, open barren landscapes are terrible.

Ghost recon wildlands for me is the sweet spot for a big, interesting world with good traversal options.
