  • And much of the surrounding German populations by decree from Eisenhower to make sure they couldn't deny it ever happened.

It's crazy with amount of documentation, Nazis record keeping, and film denial is stronger today.

  • I'm still dumbfounded by the lengths police will bend over backwards to handle a raging Karen with no arrest for over 30 minutes but will shoot a mentally challenged black person from a distance without figuring out what is going on.

  • That was my thoughts here too while reading the article. He could be back in a few years providing the senior Biden is re-elected. If not I'm not sure what we will be looking at the office for President. It might not be recognizable in a few years as I'm not sure how Putin would decorate it.

  • Wearing masks and thinking of others in society doesn't fit the me, myself, and I above all else narrative of a true Maga Patriot

  • Lol love that one. My uncle was the one that used the Bullshit line on me

  • Don't try to bullshit me, I'm a bullshit artist.

  • Ha that I suspected but I'm the same way. I wanted to finish what I was in the middle of. Mind you there was no sleep mode on my Sega. At least with the emulators you can save state now.

  • Based on the title I thought this was going to be about Gamestop Apes and their isolation from family members as they continue to dump more money into meme stocks.

  • I use to wonder the same thing with the GF when it came to Zelda. It always seemed she was in a part of the game she couldn't pause.

One day she showed me the game play and I couldn't believe the amount of loading and dialog scenes that modern games sit through these days.

  • I usually don't enjoy the taste of humans as much as fish. I think of them like Tuna though with higher concentrations of Mercury but in their case plastics too.

  • Most here will recommend Linux Mint and it's what I use now after trying many different versions over the years. There's a simplicity to Mint that just works especially well for those just surfing and doing office tasks. I've given away old work laptops with just mint installed as most people just need a web browser and it works great for that.

MS office can be used in your web browser or you can switch to Libre Office which should open most of your office files.

If you have a old laptop or computer I recommend trying to install Mint there first to try it out. It's pretty easy to start out there first before trying dual boot. You might be surprised at how quick your older laptop works with Mint in the process.

I use dual boot on my machines but most of the use these days is to get to a web browser so I find I rarely boot into windows now.

You will find Firefox is the default web browser but you can add Chrome to Mint if that's your browser of choice.

Many will say what about the privacy issues with Chrome but many still use it. I've switched back to Firefox myself and I like it better for my Android phone.

    Good luck on your journey!

  • She might really enjoy how in Florida they have Prager U make books and videos on how Slavery was beneficial to the slaves for the masses to get their edumications from...

  • I'm surprised and sorry to hear this. We have had a similar issue up north from you. The Rona idiots in our country have taken our flag on as their symbol of being an idiot.

We would only really flag ours on Canada day or for sporting events. Now they drive around with it on their cars windows and out the back of their trucks like our American cousins. Usually they will add a Fck Trudeau flag to the mix. I now no longer want to fly it due to a minority that have ruined it for now

  • Correction it's a Southern Surrender Flag now

  • I recall at one point Windows 10 was going to be the last version of the OS and they would just maintain that. I'm wondering if they said that to get the last of the Windows 7 and XP users to finally move to 10?

  • I've not really used the new food delivery services and with the cost of fast food and freshly made food in supermarkets rising so much as it was, I've actually started making basic dinners at home for myself instead.

I also now buy premade frozen things that I can just pop into a toaster oven for those lazy nights. Probably on par or better than the fast food anyways despite the extra effort of buying ahead of time.

  • Thanks social media. Everyone is an expert now. We all have our nice echo chamber feedback loops telling us all the things we want to believe is correct.

No matter the discipline there's someone that hasn't even read a book since high school that knows more than experts.

Anything done to filter out these yahoos is too much censorship by the government...

The only other time I think it was this bad was during the heyday of yellow journalism but even then you needed to have access to a printing press.

  • One needs to break into their Q feedback loops and disrupt the narrative but even then they still wouldn't believe it at first unless they were given something else to replace the beliefs with. The reality rabbit hole is really deep.

They are accepting of moving onto to new crazy things that substitutes for leaving behind some of the things that don't make sense to anyone anymore.

  • It's not like this is his first dealings with election recounts. He was involved with shutting down Jill Stein's attempts at recounts for the 2016 election.

In November 2016, a group of computer scientists and election lawyers including J. Alex Halderman and John Bonifaz (founder of the National Voting Rights Institute) expressed concerns about the integrity of the presidential election results. They wanted a full audit or recount of the presidential election votes in three states key to Donald Trump's electoral college win—Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania—but needed a candidate on the presidential ballot to file the petition to state authorities. After unsuccessfully lobbying Hillary Clinton and her team, the group approached Stein and she agreed to spearhead the recount effort.[74]

A crowdfunding campaign launched on November 24, 2016, to support the costs of the recount, raised more than $2.5 million in under 24 hours,[75] and $6.7 million in nearly a week.[76] On November 25, 2016, with 90 minutes remaining on the deadline to petition for a recount to Wisconsin's electoral body, Stein filed for a recount of its presidential election results. She signaled she intended to file for similar recounts in the subsequent days in Michigan and Pennsylvania.[77]

President-elect Donald Trump issued a statement denouncing the recount request saying, "The people have spoken and the election is over." Trump further commented that the recount "is a scam by the Green Party for an election that has already been conceded."[78]
