i didn’t get a degree until I was almost thirty, from an online college at that. I’m a complete idiot and somehow earning a bit over $200k a year in the Midwest at forty years old. Sometimes I have to meet with people and I’m like man, just let me back in my hole, wtf am I doing here, I can barely understand what these people are talking about let alone process any of the shit they are saying. I talk, ask questions, sometimes get answers I can understand but always make an idiot out of myself but I keep talking. Everyone says it’s better to keep your mouth shut and be assumed to be an idiot instead of opening your mouth and removing all doubt but I swear I’ve made a career out of being an idiot. It’s early hard to explain your point to someone that hasn’t recovered from narcissistic abuse. Even those in the thick of it, you can tell them what’s happening, they can intellectually understand, but they inevitably try to relate and discover excuses or reasons which completely misses the point of how someone that truly has NPD is wired. It’s really a shame and I wish I had a good answer. Their are tons of articles and videos from experts that accurately and intellectually describe what you are attempting to explain but the point you are trying to drive home, which you are accurately and concisely stating, never seems to really sink in for folks in my experience.
I’ll never lose sleep over it and don’t care for the whales but I do directly donate $15 a month, sometimes individually but often times to 2 or 3 individuals. The only service I pay for otherwise is realdebrid. I started donating as I got to a comfortable place in life and am happy to contribute that subscription plus my $15 a month donation to the project, creator, artist w/e. I pick based on the content our household is consuming or projects I want to support.
At the end of the day I don’t think anyone needs to justify anything. Even if pirating is considered to be immoral, which I’m not arguing, it would still be the least immoral practice in the process compared to all the shit that takes place with large commercially developed content.
If things ever got stupid I’d just play crossword and do puzzles, I’m not so attached to electronic media that I’d pay over $50 a month for the entertainment.
You don’t get to break into a car and rehome the baby or dog. They trespassed, broke in, and stole property. If they don’t like the practice, laws, or enforcement of existing laws there are legal ways to change those things. Vigilante Justice isn’t the answer and this criminal isn’t innocent of any of the crimes he’s been found guilty of.
You can find the practice of the slaughter house reprehensible and still maintain a life as a functional law abiding citizen while working towards progress at the same time.
So why don’t they just use post processing to remove all the known particles and start looking at the particles that remain, discover a new one, remove it, continue until there’s none left?
I would use burst fire fairly often but otherwise semi auto was plenty effective. Outside of really rare circumstances fully auto would do little more than show of force and waste ammo.

In two minutes from my phone I found his phone number and personal email, two personal phone numbers for his wife, one is a landline, her personal email address along with the names and contact information for their kids. Their current and prior addresses. All of their ages, birthdays, aliases and neighbors. If someone was persistent and felt like spending an hour to put together profiles for them I have no doubt they could plant a very clear picture of everything they would want for whatever they are after. I was going to post links and screenshots but I don’t think that would be appropriate and as much as I don’t like him I don’t agree with the actions. You can accomplish a lot with OSINT profiling, be it people, organizations, whatever really. Nobody that has any idea what they are doing isn’t going to do recon ahead of time. Obviously using more secure methods than a simple fingerprinted google search but I was just doing it to verify I could and without any malicious intent I would need to cover my tracks for.
