  • Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman. Rise and shine. Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No one is more deserving of a rest. And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well, let's just say your hour has come again. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes.

  • Control

Eldritch horrors, SCP and all the fun stuff rolled into one game. Even the setting is some kind of unknowable entity drawing the protagonist in.

  • This. Not Scottish, but I wear a kilt whole summer everywhere. Fortunately our company does not have a dress code at the office.

  • Finland. Of course that is exaggerated and there are always some chronically late people, but being any kind of late without a notice is frowned upon. That's why we get along with Germans way better than southern europeans.

  • Not here. Normal is at least 5 minutes early and the fashionably late types come on the dot. If you end up even 5 minutes late, you should inform the host immediately when you realize you could be running late.

  • I can still remember every special move and destruction. And how to select Nova outside tournament. Completed the tournament on Heavy Metal, but it's hard only in the beginning.

There are custom tournaments and a open source remake project https://www.openomf.org/

  • I played and liked them, second is the best and third was a mess that initially looked cool and I wanted to like, but it just was not good.

But my spouse became obsessed with them.

  • After working few years on a complex web application, I am starting to feel this style. Doing RESTful APIs for anything else than dead simple CRUD is pain.

  • Initially looks just a simple twist on Sokoban, but the game mechanic just keeps going deeper and deeper and blowing your mind.

    I could do that?

    I COULD DO THAT?!

  • In certain circles it is well known, but Baba Is You is one of the most ingenious games for a long while and should be known even wider.

  • Priorities shifted, "we're doing good" became "we need to reduce the workforce" over weekend and most of the people who they would have liked to keep decided this is a good time to look for something new.

  • That photo is from Helsinki. Around Eira I think?

  • Philomena Cunk was written by Charlie Brooker, who also has written Black Mirror, Dead Set, Death to 2020 and A Touch of Cloth.

  • Of you're any way in to esports, I really liked Falling Into Your Smile. While there is some light romance, the name gives a completely wrong impression and it's more about a woman joining and proving herself in an esports team.

  • K-dramas like What's wrong with secretary Kim, Hometown Cha-cha-cha and Romance is a Bonus Book. Start-Up and Search WWW are about people running businesses and are not so sappy, but nothing much tragic. It's OK not to be OK, SKY Castle, Move to Heaven and Extraordinary Attorney Woo have some dark stuff, but balance it with some really funny and heartfelt stuff and end up on a positive note.

    • Brick Experiment Channel testing Lego bricks and building remote controlled vehicles
    • Technology Connections explaining how TVs, refridgerators, coin operated record players, LaserDisc and any kind of other technological stuff works
    • Lemmino documentary type videos about all kinds of stuff, not many videos and hasn't been posting for a while but the backlog is good
    • Fredrik Knudsen documentary videos mostly about internet culture, also hasn't posted for a while
    • Obviously Tom Scott, but also the channels with his friends Matt and Tom (no new videos anymore, but has Citation Needed and Two of these people are lying) and Technical Difficulties
    • Hbomberguy in depth videos about stuff
